Why a portable battery for camping?

A portable power station turns a campsite into a comfortable base, without the noise or smell of a generator, which is banned or frowned upon on most pitches. Silent and safe to use inside the tent, it stores a capacity in Wh and delivers it via 230 V, USB and 12 V for all your outdoor gear.

What capacity for a weekend or a week?

For a light weekend (lighting, phone charging, a small cooler used intermittently), 300 to 500 Wh is enough. For a week for two with a compressor cooler running, aim for 600 to 1000 Wh, more if you add a coffee maker or an air-bed pump. Solar during the day significantly extends autonomy.

Weight, a key criterion

Camping often means carrying the station from the boot to the pitch: weight matters. Under 6 kg, it moves with one hand. LiFePO4 models offer the best longevity-safety balance, and many now recharge in an hour on mains before you leave.
