Detailed overview: EcoFlow 60W USB-C portable solar panel
The EcoFlow 60W (USB-C) portable solar panel takes the opposite approach to classic portable solar panels: instead of plugging into a power station, it charges your devices directly thanks to a built-in USB-C output port. Phones, laptops, electric air pumps and many other gadgets plug straight into it for a simple, practical charge in the sun, with no intermediate accessory.
Its other strength is the format: its four-fold structure measures just 317 x 309 x 45 mm when folded, barely the thickness of a book. It stows in tight spaces and travels effortlessly, hung on a bag or slipped into a side pocket. It is the panel to take on a hike, a light camp or a trip.
Despite its compactness, it makes no compromise on efficiency: thanks to TOPCon solar technology, a first in the world of compact solar panels, it reaches a conversion rate that can climb up to 25%, for a faster charge on a smaller surface. On ruggedness, its fiberglass circuit boards and durable ETFE coating, combined with IP68 certification, let it withstand harsh weather conditions.
Ultra-compact, self-sufficient thanks to its USB-C output and efficient, the EcoFlow 60W solar panel is for anyone who wants to charge their electronic devices directly in the sun, on a hike, camping or travelling, without the burden of a power station.
Comparison
At around 80 to 130€, the EcoFlow 60W (USB-C) solar panel compares with compact solar panels with a USB output, targeted by searches such as "USB solar panel" or "portable solar charger". Here is how it sits against three references: the little brother EcoFlow 45W, the BigBlue 28W USB and the Jackery SolarSaga 100W.
| Criterion | EcoFlow 60W (USB-C) | EcoFlow 45W (USB-C) | BigBlue 28W USB | Jackery SolarSaga 100W |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | 60W | 45W | 28W | 100W |
| Direct USB-C output | Yes | Yes | Yes (USB-A) | No (XT60) |
| Efficiency | TOPCon up to 25% | TOPCon up to 25% | ≈ 22% | ≈ 23% |
| Rating | IP68 | IP68 | IPX4 | IP65 |
| Observed price | ≈ 99 € | ≈ 79 € | ≈ 60 € | ≈ 299 € |
In short, the EcoFlow 60W panel stands out for its modern USB-C output, its TOPCon technology that pushes efficiency to 25% and its very good IP68 rating, in a pocket format. The 45W offers the same approach with a little less power and a lower price, the BigBlue 28W is less powerful and limited to USB-A, while the far more powerful Jackery SolarSaga 100W serves to recharge a station (XT60) and not USB devices directly. To charge your gadgets in the sun in a compact format, the 60W is an excellent choice.

Our tester's review: Julien De Jurquet
This 60W panel won us over for its different approach: here, no need for a power station, you plug the phone or laptop straight into its USB-C output and charge in the sun. It is strikingly simple on a hike or a light camp, you hang it on the bag or set it facing the sun, and devices climb back up. The format is its big asset: folded in four, it is as thin as a book and slips in anywhere, we carried it without even feeling it. The TOPCon technology, rare on such a compact panel, pushes efficiency up to 25%, which shows in charging speed compared with small entry-level panels. The fiberglass construction and ETFE coating, with IP68 certification, are reassuring for outdoor exposure. Two honest caveats: 60W is a top-up power, perfect for USB devices but not enough to recharge a large battery, and real yield depends heavily on orientation and sunlight. But to charge your gadgets directly in the sun in a pocket format, it is exactly what you need.
