Detailed overview: Anker Solix C300 288Wh portable power station
The Anker Solix C300 is a compact 288 Wh portable power station that packs many functions into a very small format. Its battery uses LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry, a mark of safety and longevity, ideal for regular use camping, in remote work or as occasional home backup.
Despite its small size (claimed 15% smaller than similar stations), it does not skimp on versatility: two mains sockets deliver 300 W continuous, raised to 600 W thanks to SurgePad technology for start-up peaks. Its modern asset is a bidirectional 140 W USB-C port, which charges a laptop at full speed and also serves to quickly recharge the station itself. To this are added a second USB-C port, a 12W USB-A port and a built-in light, very useful outdoors or during an outage.
On comfort, it is remarkably quiet, with just 25 dB measured at 1 metre, making it pleasant indoors, even at night. Its recharge is fast for its category: 80% in 50 minutes from a mains socket, or 80% in 2.5 hours on solar (input up to 100 W). A retractable handle eases transport.
Compact, complete and quiet, the Anker Solix C300 is for anyone looking for a small versatile power station for camping, outdoor leisure, remote work or occasional backup power, with the reliability of LiFePO4 chemistry and a USB-C port powerful enough for a laptop.
Comparison
At around 200 to 300€, the Anker Solix C300 compares with compact power stations of roughly 300 Wh, targeted by searches such as "portable power station" or "camping power station". Here is how it sits against three references: the EcoFlow RIVER 2, the Bluetti EB3A and the EcoFlow TRAIL 200 DC.
| Criterion | Anker Solix C300 | EcoFlow RIVER 2 | Bluetti EB3A | EcoFlow TRAIL 200 DC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 288 Wh | 256 Wh | 268 Wh | 192 Wh |
| AC output | 300W (600W SurgePad) | 300W | 600W | None (pure DC) |
| Max USB-C | 140W | 100W | 100W | 140W |
| Quiet / light | 25 dB, built-in light | Quiet | Light | Quiet |
| Observed price | ≈ 230 € | ≈ 249 € | ≈ 259 € | ≈ 149 € |
In short, the Anker Solix C300 stands out for its 140W USB-C port (which charges a laptop), its quiet operation and its built-in light, all in a very compact format. The Bluetti EB3A pushes harder on mains output, the RIVER 2 is very close, and the TRAIL 200 DC, with no mains socket, goes for lightness. For a small, complete and versatile station, the C300 offers an excellent balance.

Our tester's review: Christophe Delpuech
The Solix C300 surprised us with everything it fits into such a compact format: two real mains sockets, a 140W USB-C port that charges a laptop at full speed, and even a handy light for camping or a power cut. The 300W output (600W in SurgePad) is enough for most small appliances, and we especially like its quiet, at 25 dB you forget it completely on a bedside table or desk. The recharge is fast for the category, 80% in fifty minutes from the mains, and the 140W USB-C port also serves to recharge it quickly. The retractable handle and small footprint make it a true pocket station you take without thinking. Two honest caveats: 288Wh is a backup capacity, perfect for USB devices, a mini fridge or an evening, but not to last several days, and the solar input caps at 100W. For a compact, complete and quiet station, it is a success at excellent value.
