Its CIGS (thin-film) technology changes the game on two points you really notice in use: first the flexibility, impressive, letting it wrap onto a curved van roof where a rigid mono panel would be impossible to fit; second the shade tolerance, where CIGS keeps producing far more stably when a branch or a roof accessory casts a partial shadow, while a mono panel collapses. Its featherweight and thinness make it easy to handle and stick down, and the IP68 rating is reassuring in marine or rainy use.
