We have been using the Anker Nano II 65W every day for weeks, and it is the kind of little accessory you never leave behind. The first surprise is its size: barely bigger than an earbuds case, yet it replaces the MacBook's bulky brick. On the main USB-C port, the laptop charges at full speed, and you can plug in a phone and a tablet at the same time without anything stalling, the power sharing itself. Anker's finish is there, the case is solid and does not get warmer than it should. On the move, it fits in the smallest pocket and saves carrying three different chargers. Two small caveats: when charging three demanding devices at once, each necessarily gets less than the port's 65W on its own, which is logical, and it does not include interchangeable plugs for abroad, unlike some rivals. The finish is clean, the white case stays understated and does not get warmer than it should. But to fast-charge a phone or a tablet day to day, at this price, it is an excellent no-frills basic, reliable and simple, that we recommend as a spare or travel charger.

The StandBy mode is very handy, you keep the time or a widget in view while it charges, and the adjustable angle lets you see the screen well. What we like most is that it folds: you take it away for the weekend without cluttering the suitcase, where classic 3-in-1 stations stay on the desk. Two honest caveats: full 25W is reserved for recent iPhone 16 and 17 (iOS 26), and the price is high, you pay for the MFi certification, the fast charging and the foldable format. But for a complete, fast and genuinely portable charging station, the MagFlow 3-in-1 is a fine success.

The Nitecore IntelliCharger i2 is certainly not the newest or most sophisticated battery charger, but after testing more than 10 chargers of different brands and formats, our team kept this one for its simplicity and durability. It recharges the most common rechargeable formats without any trouble. Extremely solid and long-lasting (we have been using one at the office almost daily since 2014, and it still works without a hitch despite several drops). Protected against overheating and reverse polarity, it stops automatically when the cell is charged or after 10 hours of charging. We also appreciate that it can be powered via a car cigarette-lighter cable, which makes it even more versatile. In short, it only has small LEDs to show charging progress rather than a fancy LCD screen, it is rather rustic, but it is far better and less temperamental than most mains chargers on the market.

This minimalist battery charger was designed by Olight (a brand specializing in flashlights and torches). Powered via USB, it is able to charge a very wide range of different batteries and cells, as long as they are Lithium or NiMH/NiCD type and cylindrical in shape, with a current of 750mA. Shaped like a Y, it has a USB plug on one end, and on the other, 2 magnetic tips that attach to your battery's two poles thanks to two magnets.
Since the launch of this small battery charger, several brands have released a magnetic charger with a similar design. We've had the chance to test 4 others, and none is as good and versatile as the one from Olight. Nothing beats the original, then. Able to charge almost any cylindrical battery, this smart charger detects the battery's technology and charges it accordingly. Basically, it can charge any cylindrical lithium battery with a voltage of 3.6V/3.7V and any cylindrical NiMh cell with a voltage of 1.2V/1.5V. It's hard to get more versatile than this tiny device, which will find its place anywhere thanks to its feather-light weight of 20.5g, for example in an EDC kit or a Bug Out Bag. One of the best chargers on the market, and one of the Best Batteries team's favorites! (Would have scored 5/5 if several colors had been offered.)
