Lighter and more compact than the 220W, it travels easily and deploys in seconds on its adjustable stand. The bifacial design, taken from the high end, makes a difference as soon as you place it on a light surface, you gain watts effortlessly, and the built-in angle guide helps aim at the sun with no guesswork. The already-integrated XT60 cable plugs straight into our EcoFlow stations, no adapter to look for. While wild camping, it recharged our River in a few hours of full sun, and the IP68 rating let us leave it out without stress when a cloud bursts. Two honest caveats: 160W suits compact and mid-size stations best, for a large station you would prefer the 220W or two panels in parallel, and like any bifacial panel, maximum yield depends on good placement. But for a versatile, durable and well-thought-out panel, it is excellent value.

First good point: plugged in on a Friday evening, it goes from nearly empty to full in about an hour, so no more stress over a forgotten charge. Out in the field, it powered a mini fridge, an LED string light and two phones through a whole evening without flinching, still with charge to spare by morning. Another real plus is the quiet: sitting inside the tent you forget it is even there, where other models have their fan droning away. Its UPS function even saved us during a brief power cut at home, the router and NAS did not notice a thing. Two honest downsides: 286 Wh shows its limits over several days of heavy use (the add-on battery then becomes essential), and the handle, handy as it is, could be a touch more comfortable. On the domed roof of a van, it lay flat effortlessly thanks to its flexibility (up to 258°), and once fixed, you forget it completely, it does not stick out, catch the wind or break the vehicle's line. Its 2.3 kg are a real asset, you can put it on light structures without worrying about weight, unlike a framed rigid panel. In use, 100W is enough to maintain a leisure battery or give a constant daytime top-up, ideal to never run flat on a trip. The IP68 rating is reassuring for permanent exposure to the weather. Two honest caveats: like any flexible panel, it must stay well ventilated (laid directly on a dark surface, it heats up and loses a little yield), and it has no stand or kickstand, this is not a foldable portable panel but a permanent solution. To fit out a van, a boat or a cabin without adding weight or drilling, it is exactly what you need.

In practice, you plug in your panels (up to 2000 W), store the day's surplus and release it in the evening, either fed back into the grid (800 W, within balcony limits) or straight to its outlets at up to 1200 W during an outage (2300 W of connected appliances while the grid is available). The IP65 housing and self-heating down to -20 °C allow year-round outdoor installation, and the app control is thorough. Two reservations: at 39 kg, plan a solid mount and a two-person install, and its price places it firmly at the premium end of balcony solar. But for anyone who wants to maximise self-consumption without stacking boxes, it is a very convincing proposition.

Installation genuinely lives up to the plug-and-play promise: you screw on the bracket, clip in the panels' MC4 connectors, plug the supplied mains cable into a socket, and the EcoFlow app walks you through the rest in about fifteen minutes, with no electrician. Two details make the difference day to day. First, sensitivity: the microinverter kicks in from just 3 W of input, so it scavenges energy early in the morning and at dusk, where others stay idle. Second, ruggedness: the IP67 rating, rare on this kind of device, withstands full immersion, and it works from -40 to 65 °C. App control gives clear production graphs, but the more advanced Eco-AI assistant and the peak/off-peak mode are billed by subscription, information you find out only after buying rather than before. The zero-injection mode, for its part, has failed in at least one reported case even with the recommended smart metre, worth checking for anyone relying on it. Real conversion efficiency runs between 90 and 96% depending on the power drawn, below the peaks quoted in the spec sheet. We fitted this pair of EcoFlow rigid panels to the roof of a converted van, and it is exactly the kind of product you forget about once installed, in the best sense. Mounting is simple thanks to the supplied feet: you screw them down, set the angle, plug in the MC4 leads, and you are done. The build inspires confidence, with a solid frame and tempered glass that did not flinch after a winter of rain, frost and gusts. In full June sun, the two panels gave us output very close to the advertised 200 W, enough to fill a 1 kWh station over the day without thinking about it. The real advantage over a folding panel is consistency: no need to set the panel out each morning or bring it in at night, production starts at sunrise. Two honest caveats: at 6.2 kg each, you need a support and a roof able to take them, and the lack of a built-in kickstand means you depend on the mount for tilt. For a fixed installation on a van, cabin or garden shed, this is an excellent starting point.

We also liked charging on the move via the car socket, which tops it up during drives. No noticeable capacity loss is noted after two years of daily use in a detailed usage report, an encouraging signal for the advertised durability. The best-batteries.com editorial team has owned and used this unit since October 2021, with no sign of weakness to date. Two serious reservations before buying. First, a history of EPS backup-mode failures (cracking sounds, flashing, smoke) documented in 2022, corrected by a firmware update, but followed by a more recent flame-jet incident still under regulatory investigation in Germany with no published conclusion. Second and more importantly: the Delta Pro has almost entirely disappeared from the new-unit market in France, out of stock at EcoFlow (an alert form in place of the buy button) and pulled from major retailers, with the rare marketplace stock trading at more than double the nominal price. Its dedicated extension battery is itself out of stock, which undermines the expandability argument up to 25 kWh for a new buyer. The secondhand market between private individuals in France remains active and reasonably priced (1200 to £1585), a more realistic alternative than a new purchase today.

It stays foldable and transportable, but let's be clear: at 400W it is large once deployed and needs space, this is not a panel you carry for a simple day trip. Once deployed on its stand, you aim it between 30 and 60° using the exposure guide, and the bifacial design, taken from the more powerful models, grabs a few watts from the rear as soon as you place it on a light surface. The already-integrated XT60 cable plugs straight into our compact EcoFlow stations, no adapter. On a sunny camp, it kept a River charged effortlessly, and the IP68 rating let us leave it out without worry. Two honest caveats: 110W is a modest power, ideal for a top-up or a compact station but not enough to quickly recharge a large station (for that, aim for the 220W or 400W), and like any bifacial panel, maximum yield depends on good placement. But for a versatile, light and durable portable panel at a contained price, it is a very good entry into the range.

What strikes you first is the charging: run flat one morning, it was full before we had finished our coffee, barely over an hour. Out in the field, its 768 Wh easily covered an evening of camping with a cool box, lighting and topping up two phones and a laptop. The 3 AC sockets are a real comfort, no fighting to plug things in, and the USB-C 100 W port charges a laptop without its original charger. In-depth reviewRead our full review → 4.3/5 We compared the Delta 3 Plus to the base Delta 3 over several weeks, and the premium justifies itself as soon as you use one of its three real new features. The dual solar input up to 1000 W is the most telling: with two panels, it recharges visibly faster than a single-input station, a real plus in a van or a second home. The 140 W USB-C ports charge our laptops at full speed, without going through the mains brick. And above all, the inverter's NAS and HID compatibility kept our storage server and its software UPS perfectly stable during our outage tests, where a classic station might have cut the NAS. Otherwise, you get everything that makes the Delta 3 strong: 1024 Wh, 1800 W (2400 W X-Boost), 56-minute recharge and expansion to 5 kWh. One useful point: it is no heavier than the Delta 3, 12.5 kg in both cases, so the premium costs nothing in bulk. The one real caveat: if you use neither fast solar, nor the 140 W, nor the NAS, the base Delta 3 is enough and costs less. But for a connected office or a solar setup, the Plus is the right choice.

First impression out of the box: it is surprisingly light for 1 kWh, you move it with one hand without thinking. Outdoors, I ran a compressor cooler, charged the phones and two laptops, and even pulled out the blender for a fruit juice in the middle of nowhere: the 1800 W takes it in stride. What impressed me most is the silence, even under load you forget it is there, a real plus when you sleep next to it in a van. Mains recharge is express, a lunch break is enough to leave nearly full. The compromises are real and worth knowing: few USB ports, no 12V car socket, and the solar input is capped at 500 W. Nothing dealbreaking for typical off-grid use. In the end, if you want a simple, powerful and quiet station around £500, it is a purchase I recommend without hesitation.

Stopwatch in hand, we measured 0 to 80% in just under an hour on a standard socket, impressive for 2 kWh. On a camping weekend, we hooked up two solar panels: in fair spring weather we were pulling 380 to 420 W around midday, easily enough to stay off-grid. The fans are audible during fast charging, but you can cap the speed in the app for the night. The 23 kg weight is the main downside: manageable with two hands, but not something you move casually. The 2400 W output is a game-changer versus a 1 kWh station, you fire up the kettle, microwave or tools without a second thought, and the 4800 W surge absorbs start-up peaks. Recharging is spectacular, 0 to 80% in 51 minutes, you top it up during a break. Its 2048 Wh last a good part of a day for essentials, but the capacity stops there: unlike the Max Plus, the Delta 3 Max takes no add-on battery. In the field, the two 140W USB-C ports keep pace, a laptop and a camera body recharge in parallel without slowing down. The dedicated solar port is a real plus over the 200 DC: you connect the panel without going through USB-C, simpler at the bivouac. At 2.58 kg it stays reasonable to carry, though you do notice the difference against the 1.8 kg of its little sister. The total silence (no fan) and the announced ruggedness inspire confidence. One honest caveat: still no 230V mains socket, so you cannot plug in a small classic appliance, and 288Wh remains a backup capacity over several days. Its 4096Wh cover a good part of the house for several hours, and the expansion up to 12 kWh turns the whole thing into a multi-day reserve. We tested these rigid panels mounted flat on a garden shed roof, in an area that is not exactly known for constant sunshine. Result: even under a hazy sky, output stays decent, and as soon as the sun breaks through, current climbs fast thanks to EcoFlow's claimed 23% efficiency. What catches you off guard on unboxing is the weight: each panel is close to 22 kg, so handling one alone once it is up on a roof or fence is not an option. Installation itself is straightforward if you have done some DIY before: pre-drilled holes, a sturdy rigid aluminium frame, a reliable solar connector on the back. Small downside: neither the mounting feet nor the XT60i cable needed to plug directly into an EcoFlow power station are included, so budget for those separately. Over time, the IP68 rating is genuinely reassuring: rain, salt spray, frost, none of it seems to dent performance across the seasons. For a fixed, long-term install this is a very solid pick; for daily portable use, EcoFlow's foldable panels are the better fit.

Despite its mini size, the TOPCon technology does the job, you gain charging speed compared with an entry-level solar charger, and the fibreglass construction with ETFE coating and IP68 certification make it reassuring outdoors. We hung it on the backpack for a full day of walking, and the phone stayed charged without us worrying about it. Two honest caveats: the USB-C port caps at 15W, enough for small devices only (for the full 45W towards a RIVER power station, you need the DC5521 connector and its included cable), and in overcast weather the output drops noticeably, as on any small panel. But to charge your gadgets in the sun in the smallest possible format, it is exactly what you need.

When travelling, its capacity just under 100 Wh let me keep it in carry-on with no questions at boarding. In-depth reviewRead our full review → 4.1/5 We took the Trail 200 DC out two weekends in a row, wild camping then on a photo session, and its concept won us over: by dropping the AC inverter, EcoFlow wins on both fronts, weight (1.8 kg, it slips into a backpack) and efficiency, because powering a device over USB-C directly avoids the losses of 230V conversion. In practice, you recharge a camera body, a drone, a phone and a lamp without ever draining the battery over a day. The 140W USB-C port is the real asset, it runs a laptop or recharges the station at full speed. The build inspires confidence, drop-resistant shells, and the LiFePO4 battery promises over 3000 cycles, meaning years of use. Two honest caveats: the total absence of a mains socket and a 12V port restricts it to USB devices (you cannot plug in a small 230V appliance or a 12V cooler), and 192Wh is a backup capacity, not enough for a long weekend without an interim recharge. But to travel light and power your portable devices, it is a success.

An ideal accessory for moving towards self-consumption.
EcoFlow's Solar Tracker is a fascinating thing to watch in action: set in the garden with a panel mounted on it, it slowly pivots on its two axes and follows the sun on its own, from dawn to dusk. You no longer deal with anything, where you would normally reorient panels several times a day. The gain is real, you recover noticeably more energy than with a panel laid flat: EcoFlow claims up to 30% and our readings point that way in good weather. The setup is sturdy thanks to the four deployable feet, and the adjustable hooks take an EcoFlow panel as happily as a third-party one. Two big caveats, honestly: the price is very high for consumer use, you need a real self-consumption project to justify it, and its bulk reserves it for a fixed setup in the garden or on a plot, not for portable camping. A brilliant concept, but a niche one.

The EcoFlow Smart Generator (Dual Fuel) is an inverter generator designed to complement Delta power stations. It runs on petrol (4 L tank, around 5.4 kWh) or LPG (up to 20 kWh and 12.5 h of runtime), and delivers up to 1800 W. Its key asset: paired with a Delta station, it starts and stops automatically based on battery level and saves up to 40% fuel. App control, a carbon monoxide detector and contained 56 dB operation make it a self-sufficient backup solution, ideal when the sun is missing.
We paired this dual-fuel generator with a Delta station to test the scenario that really matters for it: long-duration autonomy when solar is no longer enough. That is where it makes full sense. Connected to the station, it starts on its own when the battery drops below a threshold, recharges, then stops, without you having to monitor anything, a life-changing convenience on extended camping trips or during multi-day outages. The dual fuel is a real plus: petrol for quick backup, LPG for long duration (up to 20 kWh and around a dozen hours), with cleaner combustion and easy bottle storage as a bonus. App control lets you track the level and start recharging remotely, and the CO detector is reassuring. On noise, 56 dB at seven metres is reasonable for a generator, without being silent. Two caveats: the 1800 W power destines it to recharge a station rather than directly power large appliances, and you have to accept the fuel logistics. But as a smart complement to an EcoFlow station, it does exactly what you expect of it.

The EcoFlow Stream AC 5000 is a 5024 Wh home storage battery built to connect over AC to a balcony solar system that already has a microinverter. Unlike the Stream Ultra X or the plain Stream 5000, it has no built-in inverter and no direct solar input: it is pure storage, exchanging up to 3000 W with the rest of the setup. Rated IP65 and for use from -20 to 55 °C, it can be expanded to 15 kWh per tower with EB5000 battery packs, and up to 90 kWh by combining several towers. Announced on 20 August 2026, it remains on pre-order in most markets.
