Detailed overview: EcoFlow DELTA 3 1024Wh portable power station

The EcoFlow DELTA 3 is a 1024 Wh portable power station designed to be the do-it-all solution: powerful enough for the home, compact enough for travel. It is built on a LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery that offers 4000 charge cycles before dropping to 80% capacity, meaning up to ten years of regular use, 25% above the industry standard.

On power, it delivers 1800 W of continuous output, with X-Boost technology pushing up to 2600 W to run demanding resistive appliances (kettle, hair dryer, hob, small tools). Enough to run the vast majority of household devices. Its recharge is one of its flagship strengths: 0 to 100% in just 56 minutes from a mains socket, with five recharge methods in total (mains, solar up to 500 W, alternator charger, smart generator and combined mains + solar charging).

Its capacity is expandable from 1 to 5 kWh by adding DELTA 3, DELTA Pro 3, DELTA 2 or DELTA 2 Max extra batteries, letting you start small then grow as needed. In a power cut, its inverter function (automatic switchover) takes over to keep your essential devices powered. EcoFlow backs it with a 5-year warranty.

Compact, fast to recharge and scalable, the DELTA 3 is for anyone who wants a versatile power station for camping, remote work, the motorhome or home backup power, with the longevity of LiFePO4 chemistry.

Comparison

At around 700 to 900€, the EcoFlow DELTA 3 compares with roughly 1 kWh power stations, targeted by searches such as "portable power station" or "1000W power bank". Here is how it sits against three references: the Anker SOLIX C1000, the Bluetti AC180 and the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2.

In short, the DELTA 3 stands out for one of the fastest recharges in the segment, its X-Boost that pushes the power ceiling and its expandability up to 5 kWh, where the Bluetti and Jackery are not expandable. The Anker SOLIX C1000 is its most direct rival, with near-identical capacity and recharge. For a scalable, fast 1 kWh station, the DELTA 3 offers one of the best feature-per-euro ratios.

We used the DELTA 3 both at home, to cover power cuts, and on weekends in a van, and it is its versatility that stands out. The 1800W output handles a kettle, an induction hob or tools without flinching, and the X-Boost function pushes up to 2600W for the most demanding resistive appliances, which is rare at this price. The recharge is striking: plugged into the wall, it goes from 0 to 100% in under an hour, you top it up during a meal before setting off again. The LiFePO4 battery is reassuring, 4000 cycles claimed, meaning a decade of regular use, and its quiet operation makes it pleasant indoors. As backup, the automatic switchover during a cut kept our router and fridge running without us noticing. Two honest caveats: 1024Wh is a mid-range capacity, you need the add-on batteries to last several days, and the weight (around 12 kg) makes it transportable but not light. For a reliable, fast do-it-all station, it is a safe bet.
