Detailed overview: EcoFlow Rapid 20000mAh 45W power bank
The EcoFlow Rapid 20K 45W is a power bank for people who usually find 20,000 mAh too bulky. It measures 150 x 69.5 mm and is 19 mm (0.75 in) thick, for 360 g: a smartphone-sized slab, a little thicker, that slips into a jacket pocket or the bottom of a bag. Its aluminium alloy body resists fingerprints and helps dissipate heat while charging. It has been on sale since June 2026, in black or white.
Its everyday strength is the cable. A 25 cm USB-C cable is built into the battery: always on hand, it saves you carrying a charging accessory and does not tangle. Two further outputs, a USB-C port and a USB-A port, let you charge up to three devices at once, for example a phone, earbuds and a game controller. A digital display shows the remaining percentage, and a green icon shows that charging is under way.
On power, the output reaches 45W at most on a single port, with USB Power Delivery and the PPS protocol compatible with Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0. EcoFlow quotes an iPhone 17 charged to 50% in 22 minutes and up to 3.87 charges of an iPhone 17 from its 20,000 mAh (74 Wh), which are manufacturer figures. That level covers smartphones, tablets, handheld consoles and ultrabooks such as a MacBook Air; a more demanding laptop would only be charged slowly, as an emergency top-up. It recharges at 30W at most, so allow several hours, and a bypass mode lets you plug it in while it powers a device.
On safety, EcoFlow highlights its X-Guard protection: automotive-grade lithium-ion cells, 10 levels of protection, 6 million temperature readings and a V0 flame-retardant shell. At 74 Wh it stays under the 100 Wh limit generally accepted in aircraft cabins (never in checked baggage; confirm with your airline).
Its limits are clear: no wireless charging, a short cable (25 cm) that suits a pocket better than a sofa, and not enough power for a large laptop. For an even more compact format, EcoFlow offers the RAPID 10K 45W, a 10,000 mAh model with a retractable cable; to power a more demanding computer, the Rapid 25K goes up to 170W. The Rapid 20K 45W is for anyone who wants a single slim, complete power bank with its cable always within reach.

Comparison
Between about £28 and £50, the EcoFlow Rapid 20K 45W compares with 20,000 mAh power banks that have a built-in USB-C cable, targeted by searches such as "20000mah power bank built-in cable" or "slim 20000mah power bank". Here is how it sits against three references from the catalogue: the Ugreen Nexode 45W, the Belkin UltraCharge 20K, which offers the same power, and the more powerful Anker Power Bank 20000 (87W).
| Criterion | EcoFlow Rapid 20K 45W | Ugreen Nexode 45W | Belkin UltraCharge 20K | Anker Power Bank 20000 (87W) |

| Observed price | £33.47 | ≈ £28 | ≈ £50 | ≈ £39 |
In short, the EcoFlow Rapid 20K 45W stands out for its slimness: 19 mm, against 31 mm for the Belkin and 39 mm for the Ugreen, at 360 g, the lightest of the group. It offers the same 45W as those two rivals. The Anker Power Bank 20000 (87W) goes further on power, which matters for a laptop, but it is thicker (26 mm) and heavier (431 g). For a complete pocket power bank in the best format, the Rapid 20K 45W is an excellent choice.

Our tester's review: Guillaume Hoarau
What strikes you first is the thinness: at 19 mm and 360 g the Rapid 20K 45W slips into a jacket pocket without a bulge, when you expect a 20,000 mAh bank to be a brick. The 25 cm USB-C cable already attached to the battery is the real everyday comfort: no forgotten cable, you take the battery out, plug in and that is it. The two other ports charge a phone and earbuds at the same time, and the display gives the exact percentage, far more telling than four little LEDs. The 45W is enough to charge a smartphone or tablet quickly and to top up an ultrabook. A few caveats: the cord is short, so handy in a pocket but awkward if the phone has to rest on a table or in bed, and recharging the battery itself tops out at 30W, which takes several hours. For 20,000 mAh in this format and at this price, it is a very good travel companion.
Frequently asked questions: EcoFlow Rapid 20000mAh 45W power bank
With 20,000 mAh (about 74 Wh), EcoFlow quotes up to 3.87 charges of an iPhone 17 and 3.55 of a Galaxy S25. In practice, count on a little less: voltage conversion loses part of the energy.
Not for a USB-C device: a 25 cm USB-C cable is built into the power bank. For a second or third device, you need your own cable on the USB-C or USB-A ports.
Yes, within its 45W limit: a USB-C ultrabook such as a MacBook Air charges, more slowly than with its original charger. A more demanding laptop (60W and above) will only be topped up in an emergency.
At 74 Wh, it stays under the 100 Wh limit that most airlines allow in the cabin, with no special approval. A power bank always travels in the cabin, never in checked baggage: confirm the rule with your airline.
EcoFlow offers the RAPID 10K 45W, a 10,000 mAh power bank with a retractable cable, smaller and lighter. For a more demanding computer, the Rapid 25K goes up to 170W.
