Detailed overview: EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 4096Wh power station
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 is a 4096 Wh portable power station that plays in the league of home backup plants. It delivers 4000 W of continuous output, with X-Boost technology climbing up to 6000 W when needed, enough to power a home's high-demand appliances, from the washing machine to an EV charger and large tools.
Its 4096 Wh capacity is expandable from 4 to 12 kWh by adding extra batteries, letting you size the reserve to your needs, from an occasional outage to several days of autonomy. In a failure, the under-10 ms switchover keeps the fridge, lights and essential equipment running with no perceptible interruption. Its LiFePO4 battery targets around 4000 cycles, meaning a decade of use.
It also shines with its quiet, only 30 dB at 2000 W, more discreet than a running fridge, a rare asset for a device of this power. On recharging, it accepts up to 2600 W of solar input to store surplus production during the day, and recharges 0 to 80% in one hour from the mains (or to 80% in 1.5 hours on solar). Designed as plug-and-play, on wheels with a telescopic handle, it suits homes, motorhomes and off-grid cabins.
Note: backup use on an electrical panel requires a manual transfer switch installed by a certified electrician. Powerful, quiet and scalable, the DELTA Pro 3 is for anyone who wants a genuine mobile home backup solution, without the constraints of a fixed installation.
Comparison
At around 3000 to 3800€, the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 compares with high-end power stations of roughly 4 kWh, targeted by searches such as "home backup battery" or "4000W power station". Here is how it sits against three references: the EcoFlow DELTA Pro (previous generation), the Anker SOLIX F3800 and the Bluetti AC300 + B300.
| Criterion | EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 | EcoFlow DELTA Pro | Anker SOLIX F3800 | Bluetti AC300 + B300 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 4096 Wh | 3600 Wh | 3840 Wh | 3072 Wh |
| AC output | 4000W (X-Boost 6000W) | 3600W | 6000W | 3000W |
| Expandable | Up to 12 kWh | Up to 25 kWh | Up to 26.9 kWh | Up to 12.3 kWh |
| Noise | 30 dB at 2000W | Moderate | Moderate | Moderate |
| Observed price | ≈ 3299 € | ≈ 2999 € | ≈ 3499 € | ≈ 2699 € |
In short, the DELTA Pro 3 stands out for the largest base capacity (4096Wh), remarkably quiet operation (30 dB) and strong solar input (2600W). The Anker SOLIX F3800 hits harder on output (6000W continuous) and expansion, while the Bluetti is more affordable but less powerful. For a mobile, powerful and quiet home backup plant, the DELTA Pro 3 sits right at the top of the basket.

Our tester's review: Christophe Delpuech
We put the DELTA Pro 3 through its paces as a home backup power plant, and the experience is close to that of a fixed installation, without the building work. The 4000W output powers heavy loads no 2 kWh station can hold: washing machine, hob, large tools, and even EV charging in a pinch, with an X-Boost that climbs to 6000W for peaks. Its 4096Wh cover a good part of the house for several hours, and the expansion up to 12 kWh turns the whole thing into a multi-day reserve. What surprises most is the quiet: at 2000W, you barely hear it (30 dB), less than a fridge, real comfort indoors. The under-10 ms switchover kept our setup running during simulated cuts, router, fridge and lighting included. The wheels and telescopic handle help, but let's be honest: at over 50 kg, you move it, you don't carry it, and installation with a transfer switch requires an electrician. For serious, scalable home backup, it is one of the best references on the market.
