Detailed overview: EcoFlow 400W rigid solar panel
The EcoFlow 400W rigid solar panel is sold as a pack of two units, for a total of 800W of peak power in a single order. Built for a fixed installation (house roof, RV, shed, garden outbuilding), it relies on high-efficiency monocrystalline cells and an anti-corrosion aluminium frame designed to last.
With a rated conversion efficiency of 23%, this panel charges faster than a standard panel of equivalent rating, and keeps producing even under a hazy sky. Its built-in MPPT algorithm continuously optimises output, whether the panel is paired with an existing PV system or an EcoFlow Power Kit such as a Delta Pro power station.
On the durability side, the IP68 rating (IEC 60529 standard) protects effectively against dust and accidental immersion, while the certified frame withstands wind pressure up to 209 km/h and up to 551 kg of snow per square metre: enough to handle the harshest winters without worrying about the installation.
- Rated power: 400W per panel (2 panels included)
- Efficiency: 23%, monocrystalline cells
- Open circuit voltage: 37.10V
- Short circuit current: 13.79A
- Dimensions: 172.2 x 113.4 x 3.5 cm per panel
- Weight: 21.8 kg per panel
- Waterproofing: IP68
- Warranty: up to 10 years
The included 300mm solar cable makes it easy to wire several panels together in series. One thing to note: the XT60i cable needed to plug directly into an EcoFlow power station is not included in this kit, and neither are the mounting feet, both of which need to be ordered separately.
In short, this pair of rigid panels is best suited to anyone who wants a fixed, durable and high-performing installation, whether for a home, a converted van or an off-grid site, rather than those looking for a foldable panel to carry around day to day.

☀ How fast does this panel recharge a power station?
The EcoFlow Rigid 400W (x2) panel (800 W) recharges a Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 (1070 Wh) in ~1h55 or an EcoFlow Delta 2 Max (2048 Wh) in ~3h40, in full sun.
| Compact / mid | Recharge |
|---|---|
| Bluetti EB3A (268 Wh) | ~30 min |
| EcoFlow River 2 Max (512 Wh) | ~55 min |
| EcoFlow River 2 Pro (768 Wh) | ~1h20 |
| DJI Power 1000 (1024 Wh) | ~1h50 |
| High capacity | Recharge |
|---|---|
| Anker Solix F2000 (2048 Wh) | ~3h40 |
| Allpowers R3500 V2 (2880 Wh) | ~5h10 |
| Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 (3072 Wh) | ~5h30 |
| Fossibot F3600 Pro (3840 Wh) | ~6h50 |
Estimate in full sun (ideal conditions). In practice, count on 3 to 5 hours of truly useful sunlight per day, so a full recharge may span several days depending on weather and orientation.

Our tester's review: Julien De Jurquet
We tested these rigid panels mounted flat on a garden shed roof, in an area that is not exactly known for constant sunshine. Result: even under a hazy sky, output stays decent, and as soon as the sun breaks through, current climbs fast thanks to EcoFlow's claimed 23% efficiency. What catches you off guard on unboxing is the weight: each panel is close to 22 kg, so handling one alone once it is up on a roof or fence is not an option. Installation itself is straightforward if you have done some DIY before: pre-drilled holes, a sturdy rigid aluminium frame, a reliable solar connector on the back. Small downside: neither the mounting feet nor the XT60i cable needed to plug directly into an EcoFlow power station are included, so budget for those separately. Over time, the IP68 rating is genuinely reassuring: rain, salt spray, frost, none of it seems to dent performance across the seasons. For a fixed, long-term install this is a very solid pick; for daily portable use, EcoFlow's foldable panels are the better fit.
Frequently asked questions: EcoFlow 400W rigid solar panel
Yes, even under a hazy sky the monocrystalline cells keep producing electricity, at a reduced rate compared to full sun. The 23% efficiency rating helps limit that loss in output.
No, this pack of two panels ships with a 300mm solar cable, but the XT60i cable needed to plug directly into an EcoFlow power station has to be ordered separately.
Each panel weighs around 21.8 kg and measures 172.2 x 113.4 x 3.5 cm, which is fairly large for a single unit. Plan on having two people to handle and mount it safely at height.
Yes, when properly installed it withstands wind pressure equivalent to 209 km/h and up to 551 kg of snow per square metre, based on EcoFlow's own testing.
No, only the two panels, the user manual and the warranty card are included in this pack. Mounting feet are sold separately on the EcoFlow site.
