Detailed overview: EcoFlow 100 W rigid solar panel 2-pack

The EcoFlow 2-pack of 100 W rigid solar panels answers a specific need: a permanent solar installation, set up once and for all, as opposed to folding panels you deploy and stow at every stop. Each panel delivers 100 W, i.e. 200 W combined, enough to seriously recharge a portable power station through the day.

Its monocrystalline cells post a conversion efficiency of 23%, among the best in their class. They are protected by reinforced lamination and tempered glass that make all the difference in permanent outdoor use: the IP68 rating lets them take rain, dust, low-pressure water jets, very high winds and even heavy snowfall. That level of protection is what allows a permanent roof installation.

Electrically, each panel supplies an operating voltage of 18 V for a current of 5.56 A (open-circuit voltage 21.6 V), over standard MC4 connectors. This universal format lets you wire the two panels in series or in parallel depending on your station's input range, and connect them to most EcoFlow stations (Delta, River) as well as third-party MPPT controllers.

The pack includes the mounting feet, a detail that matters: you can tilt the panels to optimise the angle to the sun rather than laying them flat, which noticeably improves output in winter or at northern latitudes. Each panel measures 98 x 58.6 cm, is 3 cm thick and weighs 6.2 kg, a reasonable weight for a rigid panel but one that assumes a suitable support.

This pack therefore suits owners of vans, motorhomes, cabins, tiny houses or garden sheds who want an autonomous, durable energy source, backed by a 10-year warranty. For genuinely nomadic use, where you move every day, a folding panel remains more practical.

☀ How fast does this panel recharge a power station?

The EcoFlow Rigid 100W (x2) panel (100 W) recharges a Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 (1070 Wh) in ~15h or an EcoFlow Delta 2 Max (2048 Wh) in ~29h, in full sun.

Compact / midRecharge
Allpowers Volix P300 (256 Wh)~3h40
Bluetti EB3A (268 Wh)~3h50

Estimate in full sun (ideal conditions). In practice, count on 3 to 5 hours of truly useful sunlight per day, so a full recharge may span several days depending on weather and orientation.

Comparison

Around 140 to 180 euros a pack, these EcoFlow 100 W rigid panels compare to the fixed 100 W panels sought for kitting out a van or cabin, via searches like "100W rigid solar panel" or "van roof solar panel". Here is how they stand against three alternatives: the Renogy 100W rigid, the EcoFlow 400W rigid and the BougeRV CIGS 200W flexible.

In short, this EcoFlow pack combines the best efficiency in its class (23%), the best rating (IP68) and a contained 6.2 kg per panel, with mounting feet included. Against the Renogy 100W sold singly, it costs a little more but gives you 200 W straight away and superior protection. The EcoFlow 400W rigid targets far more ambitious installations, while the flexible BougeRV appeals to those who must follow a curved roof, at the cost of lower efficiency. To equip a van or cabin with reliable, durable 200 W, this pack is an excellent compromise.

We fitted this pair of EcoFlow rigid panels to the roof of a converted van, and it is exactly the kind of product you forget about once installed, in the best sense. Mounting is simple thanks to the supplied feet: you screw them down, set the angle, plug in the MC4 leads, and you are done. The build inspires confidence, with a solid frame and tempered glass that did not flinch after a winter of rain, frost and gusts. In full June sun, the two panels gave us output very close to the advertised 200 W, enough to fill a 1 kWh station over the day without thinking about it. The real advantage over a folding panel is consistency: no need to set the panel out each morning or bring it in at night, production starts at sunrise. Two honest caveats: at 6.2 kg each, you need a support and a roof able to take them, and the lack of a built-in kickstand means you depend on the mount for tilt. For a fixed installation on a van, cabin or garden shed, this is an excellent starting point.

Frequently asked questions: EcoFlow 100 W rigid solar panel 2-pack

Yes. The reference includes 2 rigid solar panels of 100 W each, i.e. 200 W in total, plus the mounting feet that let you tilt them toward the sun.

Yes, that is their purpose. The IP68 rating, tempered glass and reinforced lamination let them durably resist rain, dust, high winds and snow, for a permanent roof installation.

Their standard MC4 connectors make them compatible with EcoFlow stations (Delta, River) via the adapter supplied with the station, but also with most MPPT controllers and third-party stations, in series or in parallel.

Rigid is made for a permanent installation (van roof, cabin): better efficiency, greater durability, output from sunrise. Folding remains preferable if you move every day and stow the panel after use.
