Detailed overview
With the RAPID Pro X, EcoFlow pushes the power bank into premium territory. This 27,650 mAh (99.54 Wh) unit targets the most demanding mobile users: remote workers, content creators, photographers and frequent travellers who need to fast-charge a laptop as much as a phone.
Its strength is power: up to 300 W spread across four USB-C outputs, with a maximum of 140 W on a single port. Enough to run a 16-inch MacBook Pro at full speed while charging a tablet, a phone and earbuds at the same time. A 60 cm retractable USB-C cable is built into the body, so there is no separate cable to carry.
Recharging is just as fast: around 40 minutes to reach 80% via a 140 W USB-C port, 26 minutes with 280 W multi-port input, and only 20 minutes with the dedicated 320 W charging station. Simultaneous charging and discharging (pass-through) is supported.
In daily use, the RAPID Pro X adds:
- A 3.9-inch LCD screen showing capacity, power per port, temperature and cycles
- An EcoFlow app (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) for monitoring, firmware updates and battery optimisation
- Detachable magnetic cases to personalise the design
- X-Guard safety: aviation-grade cells, temperature sensor and fireproof shell
At 99.54 Wh, it sits just under the 100 Wh limit set by most airlines, so it is cabin-approved (confirm with your carrier). It recharges an iPhone 16 about 4.5 times or a MacBook Air about 1.3 times. The only reservations are its premium price, its fairly bulky format (around 700 g) and a screen that scratches easily. For anyone after a power bank that can charge a laptop on the move, it remains one of the most accomplished on the market.
Comparison
Around 200 to 250 euros, the EcoFlow RAPID Pro X takes on premium 300 W power banks, through searches like "EcoFlow RAPID Pro X vs Anker Prime" or "RAPID Pro X vs Ugreen 300W". Here is how it stacks up against three alternatives: the Anker Prime, its most direct rival on power, the Ugreen Nexode 25,000 mAh, more affordable, and the Baseus Blade 2, ultra-slim.
| Criterion | EcoFlow RAPID Pro X | Anker Prime (300W) | Ugreen Nexode 25000 | Baseus Blade 2 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 27,650 mAh (99.54 Wh) | 26,250 mAh (≈ 94.5 Wh) | 25,000 mAh (90 Wh) | 24,000 mAh (≈ 86 Wh) |
| Total output | 300 W | 300 W | 200 W | 240 W |
| Max single-port output | 140 W | 140 W | 140 W | 140 W |
| Recharge 0-80% | 20 min (320 W station) / 40 min USB-C | ≈ 1 h (dedicated base) | ≈ 45 min | ≈ 45 min |
| Screen / App | 3.9" LCD + app | LCD + app | LCD, no app | LCD, no app |
| Observed price | ≈ 239 € | ≈ 199 € | ≈ 100 € | ≈ 110 € |
In short, the EcoFlow RAPID Pro X remains the most complete premium pick: it offers the largest capacity (right at the 100 Wh air-travel limit), the fastest recharge with its 320 W station, a 3.9-inch screen, an app and X-Guard safety. The Anker Prime matches it on power (300 W) for a little less, but with slightly lower capacity and express recharging reserved for its dedicated base. The Ugreen Nexode and Baseus Blade 2 are far cheaper but cap out at 200 and 240 W and have no app. To charge a laptop fast and travel light, the RAPID Pro X keeps the edge.
Our tester's review: Guillaume Hoarau
After carrying the RAPID Pro X across several trips, one thing is clear: this is a power bank built first for laptops. Plugged into the 140 W port, my MacBook charged almost as fast as with its wall charger, while also topping up my phone and earbuds at the same time. The LCD screen is a real everyday plus: you see remaining charge and the power drawn by each port at a glance, and the built-in retractable cable saves rummaging through the bag. When travelling, its capacity just under 100 Wh let me keep it in carry-on with no questions at boarding. Recharging is impressive, especially with the 320 W station: a coffee break and it is ready again. Two honest downsides: it is expensive and fairly heavy for a power bank (around 700 g, you feel it in the bag), and the screen scratches easily if left loose without a case. Otherwise, for mobile remote work or a creator kit, it is one of the most complete and fastest power banks I have used.
