Detailed overview: Allpowers R4000 3456Wh portable power station
The Allpowers R4000 is a very high-capacity portable power station (3456 Wh) built for those who want a real energy reserve: home backup during outages, a converted van, a worksite or an outdoor event. It aims to replace a generator, with no noise or fuel.
On power, it delivers 3600 W continuous through its pure sine wave inverter, and climbs to 6000 W in surge to absorb start-up peaks (motors, compressors, large appliances). Enough to simultaneously power nearly all of a home's devices: fridge, induction hob, washing machine, tools, computers.
Its battery uses LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry, known for safety and longevity: Allpowers states over 3500 cycles while keeping more than 80% capacity, and over 6500 cycles at 50%, meaning many years of use. Recharging is a strong point: from 0 to 100% in about one hour on mains thanks to its in-house fast-charging technology, with solar, car and EV-charger options too.
Ergonomics have been well thought out: clear touchscreen, voice control, remote control via the Allpowers app (battery level, power, scheduling). Its wheels and telescopic handle greatly ease moving it despite its size. Its capacity is also expandable with extra batteries to target even more runtime.
Powerful, enduring and mobile, the Allpowers R4000 is aimed at those looking for a high-capacity station able to hold the home during an outage or power demanding equipment off-grid, at a very competitive price on sale.
Comparison
At around 1900 to 3600€, the Allpowers R4000 compares with very high-capacity portable power stations (3000 Wh and up), targeted by searches such as "3000W power station" or "home solar generator". Here is how it sits against three references: the EcoFlow Delta Pro 3, the Bluetti AC200L and the Anker Solix F2000.
| Criterion | Allpowers R4000 | EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 | Bluetti AC200L | Anker Solix F2000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 3456 Wh | 4096 Wh | 2048 Wh | 2048 Wh |
| Power | 3600 W (6000 W) | 4000 W (5600 W) | 2400 W (3600 W) | 2300 W |
| Recharge 0-100% | ≈ 1 h | ≈ 1 h | ≈ 1.5 h | ≈ 1.5 h |
| Mobility | Wheels + handle | Wheels + handle | Handles | Wheels + handle |
| Observed price | ≈ 1899 € | ≈ 3199 € | ≈ 1199 € | ≈ 1499 € |
In short, the Allpowers R4000 stands out for its excellent capacity/power/price ratio on sale, with 3456 Wh, 3600 W and a one-hour recharge. The Delta Pro 3 offers more capacity and a wider ecosystem, but at a much higher price. The AC200L and F2000 play compactness at lower capacity. For a large mobile backup reserve at the best price, the R4000 is very convincing.

Our tester's review: Christophe Delpuech
The R4000 clearly plays in the big-station league, and you feel it from the first use. Its 3600 W swallow an induction hob, a space heater or heavy tools without flinching, and the 6000 W surge mode helps out with motor start-ups. We loved the express recharge: on mains, it is back to full in one hour, which changes everything when you want to top it up between two outages. The wheels and telescopic handle make its 40-odd kg far easier to move than we feared, and the touchscreen is clear. Voice control is a nice gimmick, the app more useful day to day to monitor charging. The LiFePO4 battery is reassuring on lifespan. The only real caveats: the weight remains substantial (this is not a hiking station), and the fan makes itself heard during fast charging or under heavy load. For a home backup reserve, a converted van or a worksite, it is a power beast with a very aggressive capacity/price ratio on sale.
