Detailed overview: DJI Power 2000 portable power station
The DJI Power 2000 marks DJI's forceful arrival in the portable power station market. With 2048 Wh of capacity, a 3000 W output and an LFP (LiFePO4) battery rated for 4000 cycles, it targets the most demanding uses: home backup power, van and motorhome, worksite or photo and video shoots.
Its 230V output of 3000 W, stable until the battery is empty, covers over 99% of common household appliances, including heavy loads such as a kettle, a space heater or serious power tools. It offers 4 AC outlets, 4 USB-C ports (up to 140 W), 4 USB-A ports and 2 SDC ports for solar and car input. All the ports, buttons and the screen are grouped on the front, in a compact 32.6-litre body.
Charging is a strong point: from the mains (up to 2200 W), it goes from 0 to 80% in 45 minutes and reaches 100% in 75 minutes. It accepts up to 1800 W of solar input, or hybrid solar plus car charging. Another DJI signature: near-silent operation, under 29 dB in standard charging and 38 dB in fast charging, quieter than a household fridge. During an outage, the UPS function takes over in just 10 ms.
Key specifications:
- Capacity: 2048 Wh, LFP battery, expandable to over 22 kWh with add-on batteries
- AC output: 3000 W continuous, pure sine wave
- Recharge: mains 0 to 80% in 45 min (up to 2200 W), solar up to 1800 W, car charging
- Battery: LFP (LiFePO4) cells, 4000 cycles, about 10 years of regular use
- Connectivity: 4 AC outlets, 4 USB-C (140 W), 4 USB-A, 2 SDC ports
- Comfort: under 29 dB in standard charging, 10 ms UPS, front screen
- Weight and size: 22 kg, 448 x 324 x 225 mm, 3-year warranty (extendable to 5 years via the app)
Rugged, powerful and remarkably quiet, the DJI Power 2000 stands out as one of the most accomplished stations in its class. Its only real downsides: a 22 kg weight that keeps it near the vehicle or as a fixed unit, and a proprietary accessory ecosystem (SDC connectors for solar and expansions). For anyone after a large, versatile energy reserve that charges fast and stays discreet, it is a top-tier choice.

Comparison
Around £1100, the DJI Power 2000 compares to the most sought-after 2 kWh stations, via searches such as "DJI Power 2000 vs EcoFlow Delta 2 Max" or "DJI Power 2000 vs Bluetti AC200L". Here is how it stands against three direct alternatives: the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max, the expandable benchmark; the Bluetti AC200L, highly versatile; and the Aferiy P210, the most aggressive on price.
| Criterion | DJI Power 2000 | EcoFlow Delta 2 Max | Bluetti AC200L | Aferiy P210 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 2048 Wh (expandable) | 2048 Wh (expandable to 6144 Wh) | 2048 Wh (expandable to 8192 Wh) | 2048 Wh |
| Continuous / peak power | 3000 W / 3600 W | 2400 W / 3400 W | 2400 W / 3840 W | 2400 W / 4800 W |
| Mains recharge 0-80% | 45 min | 43 min | ~50 min | ~75 min |
| Max solar input | 1800 W | 1000 W | 1200 W | 500 W |
| Noise level | under 29 dB | ≈ 50 dB | ≈ 45 dB | ≈ 40 dB |
| Observed price | ≈ £1100 | ≈ £1099 | ≈ £999 | ≈ £699 |
In short, the DJI Power 2000 stands out with its 3000 W of power, above its rivals, its 1800 W solar input and above all its near-silent operation, a rare asset. The EcoFlow Delta 2 Max and Bluetti AC200L keep the edge on maximum expandability, while the Aferiy P210 remains unbeatable on price. For demanding use where silence and power matter, the DJI Power 2000 justifies its positioning.

Our tester's review: Christophe Delpuech
We were curious to see DJI enter the power arena, and the Power 2000 quickly reassures. Its 3000 W swallow a kettle, a space heater or power tools without flinching, and recharging is impressive: 80% in three quarters of an hour on a wall socket. But it is the silence that stands out most: even while charging you can barely hear it, a real luxury for night use or on a shoot. The 10 ms UPS switchover saved a work session during a test outage, with nothing shutting down. The four USB-C ports up to 140 W are perfect for charging laptops and batteries. Two honest gripes: at 22 kg it carries but it is heavy, and the accessory ecosystem (solar input, expansions) relies on in-house connectors. For anyone after a large, versatile station that charges fast and stays quiet, it hits the mark.
