Detailed overview: Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 power station 2042Wh
The Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 is the brand's most versatile portable power station, midway between mobility and high capacity. It stands out first for its record lightness: 17.5 kg for 2042Wh, about 41% less than a typical 2 kWh station. At equal capacity it is therefore far easier to carry, store and move from room to room or into an RV.
On power, its inverter delivers 2200W continuous (4400W peak), enough to run the vast majority of household appliances: fridge, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, worksite tools, TV, internet router. It offers plenty of outputs to run everything at once: 3 AC outlets, 2 USB-C ports up to 100W, 2 USB-A ports and a 12V car socket.
It is also an excellent backup solution: during an outage, its switchover function keeps sensitive devices (fridge, router, computer) powered with no perceptible interruption. Its LiFePO4 battery is rated for 4000 cycles at 70% capacity, a guarantee of several years of life, and operation stays quiet (below 30 dB in silent charging).
Charging is fast, a full charge in about 1h40 from a wall socket, and it accepts up to 1000W of solar input for full autonomy. Everything is managed via the Jackery app over Bluetooth and WiFi (runtime tracking, charging modes, solar priority). In short, the Explorer 2000 v2 offers the best balance of capacity, weight and price in the range, ideal for anyone wanting a station that is both portable and able to keep the home running.
Comparison
How does the Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 sit against rival 2 kWh stations?
| Model | Capacity | Power | Weight | Backup |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 | 2042Wh | 2200W | 17.5 kg | Yes |
| EcoFlow Delta 2 Max | 2048Wh | 2400W | 23 kg | Yes |
| Anker Solix C2000 | 2048Wh | 2400W | 27.9 kg | Yes |
At near-identical capacity, the Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 crushes the competition on weight: 17.5 kg, versus 23 kg for the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max and nearly 28 kg for the Anker Solix C2000. Those two offer 200W more, but the Jackery stays by far the easiest to carry, a real argument for a station you move often.

Our tester's review: Christophe Delpuech
The Explorer 2000 v2 is probably the most versatile station in the range, and the first real surprise is its weight: 17.5 kg for 2 kWh, you move it with two fingers where rivals of the same capacity often approach 25 kg. In practice its 2200W let us run a fridge, a kettle and charge tools on a worksite, then switch to an RV weekend without changing any settings. The 2042Wh easily cover a full day of autonomy for a couple. At home we tested it as backup during an outage: the fridge and router stayed powered with no perceptible interruption. Recharging is fast, around 1h40 from the mains, and the app tracks everything. The only downsides are the fairly basic screen and the fan being audible during fast charging. Otherwise, it is an excellent balance of capacity, weight and price.
