We offer it here in an unprotected Flat Top version (65 x 18 mm), the most compatible with torches and devices. It also serves as the basis for many packs, power banks and e-bikes. Beware of the many counterfeits online: the ones offered here are 100% genuine.
In the 18650 world, the NCR18650B is the yardstick, and for good reasons. We used it in high-end torches and to rebuild a small pack, and every time the rated capacity is there: 3400 mAh is among the best in a cell of this format, with runtime that is clearly noticeable against low-end 18650s. Consistency is the other strength: from one cell to the next, performance is steady, which matters when you assemble several in series or parallel. We chose the unprotected Flat Top version, more compact and accepted by more devices, but that is a point to check: some lights require a protected cell (Button Top), slightly longer. Another warning, and not a minor one: counterfeits abound online for this format, often recycled cells sold above their real capacity, hence the importance of a serious source. Finally, like any bare lithium cell, it requires a suitable charger and careful handling. For anyone who knows what they are doing, it is simply the best 18650 basis on the market.

It charges up to 4 batteries at once, with individual management of each slot: each cell is charged then monitored separately, which preserves their lifespan. Automatic detection and overcharge and overheat protections ensure safe charging. Fast (about 3 hours for 4 AA), compact and supplied with 4 eneloop 2000mAh batteries, it is the safe bet to equip the whole home.
We adopted it and we are not going back: this little Panasonic replaced all our disposable batteries. Per-slot individual charging really changes things, you can mix two AA and one AAA without a second thought, and each cell is treated according to its state. The supplied eneloop live up to their promise, you find them charged even after months in a drawer. Compact, quiet, it barely warms up. The only real complaint: no screen, just LEDs, so no precise info on capacity or remaining time, which is enough for home use but will frustrate enthusiasts. At this price, with 4 eneloop included, it is the best starting point to switch to rechargeable batteries.
