This is a tangible gain of 16-18% over the standard Eneloop AAA (800 mAh typical), consistent with the gap shown on the AA format in the same range.
The cycles versus capacity trade-off, as on the AA version
Panasonic announces up to 500 recharge cycles for the Pro AAA, a figure to treat with the same caution as on the AA version in the same Pro range: the real cycle count before noticeable degradation, measured on the AA format, sits more around 150-170 recharges.
