We already knew the NCR18650B, but the NCR18650GA targets a different crowd: those who need real current. Tested in a tactical torch rated at 3000 lumens and in a rebuildable dual-coil mod at 0.15 ohm, it never heated up worryingly, unlike other similar-capacity cells that start to struggle under load. Runtime remains excellent: on the torch, we easily gained 20 to 30 minutes of intensive use compared with classic 10-15A cells of equal capacity. One small downside, it costs a bit more than the NCR18650B for near-identical capacity, a premium that only makes sense if your device genuinely draws more than 2 to 3A continuously. And as always with this format, stay alert to the counterfeits flooding online marketplaces: a serious source beats a price that looks too good to be true. Overall, a formidably efficient cell for anyone who needs power without sacrificing capacity.
