Detailed overview: Ugreen 25000mAh laptop power bank

The Ugreen Nexode 145W is a high-capacity power bank built for a specific job: charging a laptop on the move, without giving up on phones and accessories. With 25,000 mAh (92.5 Wh) and 145W of total output, it works as a genuine portable charging station in a bag-friendly format.

Its headline feature is the USB-C1 port, which supports Power Delivery 3.1 up to 140W. That is enough to power a 16-inch MacBook Pro (charged to 54% in 30 minutes), a Windows ultrabook, a Steam Deck or a Nintendo Switch at full speed, where most power banks cap out at 60 or 100W. The 3 ports (2 USB-C and 1 USB-A) charge three devices at once, with power shared automatically. A digital display shows the remaining level and the power delivered in real time, handy for keeping an eye on a charge.

On endurance, its 25,000 mAh recharge an iPhone 17 around 4.7 times, a Galaxy S25 Ultra 3.4 times, or a 13-inch MacBook Air 1.3 times. It recharges itself in about 2 hours with a 65W or higher charger (not included), a real time-saver next to batteries of this capacity that often need a full night.

You have to accept the weight: 505 g for 16 x 8.1 x 2.7 cm, logical for 25,000 mAh but noticeable in the hand. Good news for travellers: at 92.5 Wh it stays under the 100 Wh limit and is therefore allowed in the aircraft cabin. Compatible with iPhone 17 to 14, Galaxy S25 and S24, iPad and USB-C laptops, UGREEN's Nexode 145W stands out as a versatile answer for anyone who wants a single battery that charges everything, from earbuds to a laptop.

Here is how it sits against three references: the Anker 737 (PowerCore 24K), the Anker Prime 20000 200W and the Baseus Blade 2.

In short, the Ugreen Nexode 145W offers the best capacity-to-power-to-price ratio: it combines the largest capacity (25,000 mAh), 140W laptop charging and a control display, for a price well below the Anker 737 at comparable power. The Anker Prime pushes to 200W to run two laptops at full tilt, but costs more and holds less energy. The Baseus Blade 2 is an affordable alternative, but caps at 100W. For a single, powerful and long-lasting battery for everyday use, the Nexode 145W is the smartest pick.

We took the Ugreen Nexode 145W on a work trip, and it is exactly the kind of battery that puts your mind at ease: head out for a full day with a MacBook, an iPhone and earbuds, and only one accessory to drop in the bag. Plugged in over USB-C, the MacBook Pro charges before your eyes, you get back more than half the battery in half an hour, and meanwhile the iPhone charges on the second port without anything faltering. The display is a real plus day to day: one glance shows the power going out and the percentage left, no more guessing what is in reserve. Recharging the battery itself is quick if you have a strong charger to hand: about two hours with a 65W brick, versus an eternity on a small phone charger. Two honest caveats: it is heavy at 505 g, you will not forget it at the bottom of a pocket, and you have to supply your own powerful charger to enjoy fast recharging (the base version is the battery only). But for anyone after a single battery that can charge a laptop as well as a phone, with headroom to spare, it is a real value-for-money success.
