Detailed overview: Anker 25000 mAh 165W power bank
The Anker A1695 is a premium 25,000 mAh power bank designed to charge a smartphone and a laptop alike. With a total output of 165 W and three USB-C ports delivering up to 100 W each, it charges a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 50% in about 33 minutes and can power up to four devices at once. It is a genuine pocket charging hub for heavy users.
Its signature feature is its two built-in USB-C cables: one fixed and one retractable, always ready to use, so you never carry separate cables. On top of that, it has three USB-C ports (100 W max each) and a USB-A port to cover every use. A smart display shows the charge level, input and output power, and remaining charge time in real time.
Its 25,000 mAh (90 Wh) recharge a modern smartphone four to five times, or easily cover a full day of mobile work on a laptop. It recharges itself fast: 30% in 20 minutes with a 100 W input, and a full charge in about two hours. It also supports pass-through charging, meaning it can power a device while it recharges itself, provided the input reaches at least 20 W; below that threshold it simply recharges itself. ActiveShield 2.0 technology continuously monitors temperature for safe use.
At 595 g, it carries the weight of a true laptop power bank but stays portable in a bag. At 90 Wh, it comes in under the 100 Wh airline cabin limit. For anyone after a powerful, versatile power bank with built-in cables and a display, able to charge a laptop, the Anker A1695 is one of the most accomplished on the market.

Comparison
The Anker A1695 compares with high-capacity 20,000 to 26,000 mAh power banks able to charge a laptop, through searches such as "Anker A1695 vs Ugreen Nexode 25000" or "best 165W power bank for laptop". Here is how it stands against three alternatives: the Ugreen Nexode 25000 200W, the Anker 737 (24,000 mAh) and the Baseus Blade H1.
| Criterion | Anker A1695 | Ugreen Nexode 25000 | Anker 737 (24K) | Baseus Blade H1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Claimed capacity | 25,000 mAh | 25,000 mAh | 24,000 mAh | 20,000 mAh |
| Actual energy | 90 Wh | 90 Wh | 86.4 Wh | 74 Wh |

| Built-in cables | Yes, 2 including 1 retractable | No | No | No |
| Weight | 595 g | 609 g | 630 g | 451 g |
The Anker A1695 is the only one in the group to combine three 100 W USB-C outputs with two cables attached to the casing, one of them retractable: that is its real signature, and none of the other three matches it there. The Ugreen Nexode pushes total power to 200 W and the Anker 737 stops at 140 W, but both concentrate it on two outputs only and still require carrying your own cables. The Baseus Blade H1 is the lightest and most affordable, at the cost of a quarter less energy and power capped at 100 W. For demanding mobile use with a laptop, and no cable to carry, the A1695 is the most accomplished choice of the group.

Our tester's review: Guillaume Hoarau
The Anker A1695 blew us away with its versatility. It is the first power bank you grab without a second thought: it charges the phone, the tablet and above all the laptop, all at once. The 100 W per USB-C port make a real difference, a MacBook gets half its charge back in half an hour, just like on the mains. But the detail we love is the two built-in cables: the retractable one for daily use, the fixed one as a backup, you never hunt for a cable again. The display is very readable and gives all the useful info, watts in, watts out, time remaining, you always know where you stand. Its 25,000 mAh easily last a big day of work away from an outlet, and it recharges itself quickly. Two honest reservations: at nearly 600 g, this is not a battery you slip into a pocket, it is made for a bag, and its price is higher than a regular power bank. But for intensive use, with this power and these built-in cables, it is hard to fault.
Frequently asked questions: Anker 25000 mAh 165W power bank
Yes, that is its whole purpose. With 165 W total and up to 100 W per USB-C port, it charges a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 50% in about 33 minutes, like a mains charger, including Windows ultrabooks.
Up to four devices at once, thanks to its three USB-C ports and its USB-A port. The 165 W total output is then shared between the connected devices.
With its 25,000 mAh (around 90 Wh), it recharges a modern smartphone four to five times, depending on its battery capacity. Enough for several days or a long multi-device day.
Yes. At 90 Wh, it stays under the 100 Wh cabin limit set by most airlines, with no special authorisation. Anker even advertises it as flight-ready.
The A1695 has two USB-C cables built right in: a fixed one and a retractable one that tucks into the body. Both avoid carrying a separate cable; the retractable one is handy day to day, the other serves as a backup.
