Detailed overview: Allpowers SP033 200W foldable portable solar panel
The Allpowers SP033 is a 200 W portable solar panel built to recharge your power stations anywhere the sun shines, while staying affordable. It is aimed at anyone who wants more independence in a van, camping, on a worksite or during a power cut, without blowing the budget.
Presented as one of the brand's best-value panels, it posts a conversion efficiency of up to 22%, while being about a third lighter than a classic panel of the same power. This lightness is a real everyday asset: the panel is easier to move, store and set up. Its 200 W output efficiently recharges a power station over the day in good weather.
In terms of design, it folds into a compact format and deploys in a minute thanks to its adjustable kickstands that angle it toward the sun. Its great strength is compatibility: the kit includes various connectors and Anderson adapters, making it compatible with most portable power stations on the market, beyond the Allpowers brand.
Keep in mind that any panel depends heavily on orientation and sunlight: the rated 200 W is only reached in ideal conditions. Check the input voltage and current your station accepts before connecting.
Light, versatile and affordable, the Allpowers SP033 200W is an excellent companion to extend your power station's runtime, from a nature weekend to a home backup reserve.
Our tester's review: Julien De Jurquet
The SP033 plays the value card, and plays it well. Deployed, it unfolds in a minute, the kickstands hold decently, and it is easy to angle south to maximise the harvest. In strong sun, it easily recharges a several-hundred-Wh station over the day, enough to clearly extend runtime in a van or camping. We really appreciate its lightness, noticeably lower than classic 200 W panels, which changes everything when you have to move or store it. Its versatile connectivity, with Anderson adapters and various connectors supplied, makes it compatible with the vast majority of stations on the market, a real asset. Two honest caveats: like any panel, output drops fast as soon as a cloud passes or a shadow crosses the surface, so you have to reposition it, and the rated 200 W remains a theoretical value reached only in ideal conditions. To recharge a station in the sun without breaking the bank, it is an excellent choice.
