Detailed overview
The Allpowers Solax SE200 is a 200 W portable solar panel designed to recharge your power stations anywhere, off the grid. It relies on latest-generation monocrystalline solar cells whose conversion efficiency reaches 23 to 25%, among the best in its class: for the same surface area, it produces more than a standard panel and therefore fills your portable battery faster.
Its design is made for the field. Foldable, it packs down into a compact size that slips easily into a boot or a van, and deploys in seconds. Its built-in kickstands with adjustable angle let you aim the surface at the sun to optimise output depending on the time of day and the weather. The one-piece laminated structure and the ETFE coating protect each cell from scratches, UV and moisture, while the IP68 rating ensures resistance to rain, dust and splashes.
On the electrical side, the SE200 shows an open-circuit voltage of 48.96 V, a maximum output voltage of 41.6 V and a maximum current of around 4.8 A, for a 200 W peak output. It works from -20°C to 60°C, making it usable in most outdoor conditions.
Versatile, it connects to Allpowers power stations (R600, R1500, S300 Plus, S2000...) as well as many models from other brands. For anyone wanting more autonomy while camping, in a van or to guard against outages, the Solax SE200 offers an excellent balance of efficiency, ruggedness and portability.
Comparison
At around 200€, the Allpowers Solax SE200 compares with the most sought-after 200 W portable solar panels, through searches such as "Solax SE200 vs EcoFlow 220W" or "SE200 vs Jackery SolarSaga 200W". Here is how it stacks up against three of its most compared alternatives: the EcoFlow 220W bifacial, the Jackery SolarSaga 200W and the Bluetti PV200, all segment benchmarks.
| Criterion | Allpowers Solax SE200 | EcoFlow 220W bifacial | Jackery SolarSaga 200W | Bluetti PV200 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peak power | 200 W | 220 W | 200 W | 200 W |
| Efficiency | 23 to 25% | ≈ 23% | ≈ 24% | ≈ 23% |
| Cell technology | Monocrystalline ETFE | Monocrystalline | Monocrystalline ETFE | Monocrystalline ETFE |
| Protection rating | IP68 | IP68 | IP65 | IP65 |
| Observed price | ≈ 199 € | ≈ 549 € | ≈ 499 € | ≈ 499 € |
In short, the Allpowers Solax SE200 is by far the most attractive option on budget: with efficiency and power on par with the big brands, it costs two to three times less, while offering one of the best protection ratings (IP68). The EcoFlow 220W squeezes out a few extra watts and the Jackery SolarSaga benefits from a very established brand, but both cost far more. To recharge a power station from solar without breaking the bank, the SE200 is hard to beat.

Our tester's review: Julien De Jurquet
We used the Solax SE200 over several outings, plugged into different power stations, and it delivers. Deployed facing the sun with the kickstands set at the right angle, it ramps up quickly: in good weather it really gets close to the advertised 200 W, enough to fill a 300 Wh station in two to three hours. The efficiency of the monocrystalline cells shows, especially late in the day as the light fades. On the practical side, we like the foldable format that stows away easily, and the sturdy kickstands that keep it well aimed even on uneven ground. The laminated finish and IP68 rating are reassuring: a shower does not worry it. Two honest reservations: unfolded, it is bulky (over two metres long), and its weight is that of a real 200 W panel, you do not carry it for hours. But to recharge your station off-grid, without relying on the mains, it is an efficient, well-built companion at a contained price.
