The DJI Power 500 slips into a bag like a beefy power bank, but delivers far more: 1000W on tap, enough to run a small appliance or a full workstation without flinching. We took it on a video scouting trip and an itinerant weekend: its light weight (7.3kg) and compact footprint quickly go unnoticed in the bag. Charging is dazzlingly fast, 80% in 50 minutes, we relaunched it between appointments without waiting around. For DJI pilots, the SDC Lite port is a real plus: fast drone battery charging without stacking chargers. The downsides: 512Wh drain quickly once several hungry devices are plugged in, and you must buy the solar or car charging adapter separately, not included as standard. Still a reliable, well-built station, backed by DJI's know-how, ideal as a light companion rather than a whole-home backup solution.
