Detailed overview: Baseus Bipow Pro 20000mAh 25W power bank

The Baseus Bipow Pro 20000mAh has become a benchmark among affordable large power banks, thanks to a very aggressive value proposition. It offers a 20000mAh capacity, 25W Power Delivery fast charging, and a digital display showing the remaining percentage, all at a price that makes it accessible to everyone.

It has 3 ports: two USB-A and one bidirectional USB-C. You can therefore charge several devices at once, and the USB-C port both charges your devices and recharges the bank itself. Its 25W power allows fast charging on most recent smartphones and tablets, far quicker than entry-level banks.

Its display is a genuine everyday asset: it shows in real time the remaining charge level as a percentage, avoiding nasty surprises. It is a feature rarely found on banks at this price. Its 20000mAh charge a smartphone about 3 to 4 times, enough to cover several days on the move without access to a socket.

Its limits are those of its positioning: its 25W power is meant for phones, tablets and small devices, not for charging a demanding laptop (you then need 65W or more). Its plastic finish feels a little less premium than some rivals. But for a reliable large power bank with a display and a truly affordable price, the Bipow Pro is an excellent choice.

The Baseus Bipow Pro is a bit of the value champion among large power banks. For less than £25, you get 20000mAh, 25W fast charging and above all a display showing the remaining percentage, a real comfort usually found only on far pricier models. In use, it charges a smartphone three to four times, enough for several days on the move. The 3 ports let you plug in two devices at once, and the USB-C port also recharges it. The body stays reasonably compact for the capacity. The downsides are typical for the price: the 25W power suits phones and tablets but not demanding laptops, and the plastic finish feels a touch less premium than Anker. But for large capacity at a low price, it is hard to do better.
