We used the Anker Prime 26250 as the backup pack for a mobile workstation over several weeks, and it belongs in a class of its own. The 140 W available on a USB-C port is not a marketing figure: our 16-inch MacBook Pro charged at the same speed as with its original mains brick, in the middle of a video editing session. Plugging an iPad and a phone in alongside did not faze the pack, which splits its 300 W intelligently. The colour display is a genuine daily plus: you see exactly how many watts go to each port and the estimated time remaining, a change from the usual four LEDs. Recharging at 250 W is almost disconcerting, the pack takes back half its capacity during a coffee break. Its 99.75 Wh keep it just under the 100 Wh bar, so it goes through cabin security without discussion. The two caveats are obvious: the price, well above a classic power bank, and the bulk, since this is not a model you slip into a pocket. For a creator, a nomadic developer or a photographer, the investment is fully justified.
