Detailed overview: Bluetti 200W foldable monocrystalline solar panel
The Bluetti MP200 is a 200 W portable solar panel built to recharge your power stations anywhere the sun shines. It is aimed at anyone who wants more independence in a van, camping, on a worksite or during a power cut, without relying on a mains socket.
Its technical strength lies in its monocrystalline cells, which reach a conversion efficiency of up to 23.4%, clearly above the 15 to 20% of entry-level panels. In practice, for the same surface, it produces more and fills your battery faster. In full sun and well oriented, it is enough to recharge a 1000 Wh station over the day.
In terms of design, it folds into four sections for a compact briefcase format and carries by its handle. Deployment takes under a minute and its adjustable kickstands let you tilt the panel toward the sun to optimise output. The ETFE coating, known for its durability and scratch resistance, protects the cells, while the IP65 rating ensures good resistance to dust and splashes.
Connectivity relies on a standard MC4 output, the norm for portable solar: beyond Bluetti stations (AC180, AC200L, Elite 200 V2, EB3A...), the MP200 powers most solar generators on the market with a compatible input. Just check the input voltage and current your station accepts before connecting, possibly several panels in series.
Easy to move despite its 9 kg or so, rugged and versatile, the Bluetti MP200 200W is an excellent companion to extend your power station's runtime, from a nature weekend to a home backup reserve.
Comparison
At around 350 to 500€, the Bluetti MP200 200W compares with foldable 200 W portable solar panels, targeted by searches such as "200W portable solar panel" or "foldable camping solar panel". Here is how it sits against three references: the EcoFlow 220W, the Anker Solix PS200 and the Jackery SolarSaga 200W.
| Criterion | Bluetti MP200 200W | EcoFlow 220W | Anker Solix PS200 | Jackery SolarSaga 200W |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | 200 W | 220 W | 200 W (bifacial) | 200 W |
| Efficiency | Up to 23.4% | Up to 23% | Up to 25% (N-type) | Up to 24.3% |
| Protection | IP65 | IP68 | IP68 | IP65 |
| Weight | ≈ 9 kg | ≈ 9.5 kg | ≈ 4.8 kg | ≈ 8 kg |
| Observed price | ≈ 399 € | ≈ 499 € | ≈ 349 € | ≈ 499 € |
In short, the MP200 offers an excellent efficiency-to-price ratio with its 23.4% monocrystalline cells and universal MC4 plug. The Anker Solix PS200, bifacial and very light, stands out on mobility, while the EcoFlow 220W and the Jackery play the brand and ecosystem card. To recharge a Bluetti station or any MC4-compatible solar generator without blowing the budget, the MP200 is a versatile and solid choice.

Our tester's review: Julien De Jurquet
The MP200 does exactly what you want from a good portable panel: it unfolds in seconds, the kickstands hold well even on uneven ground, and it is easy to angle south to maximise the harvest. In strong sun, you get close to the rated figures, enough to fill a 1000 Wh station over the day without trouble. We like the briefcase format with its handle, easy to slip into the boot for a van weekend or a camping trip. The ETFE coating inspires confidence and holds up to repeated handling. Two honest caveats: like any panel, output drops fast as soon as a cloud passes or a shadow crosses the surface, so you have to reposition it regularly, and its 9 kg or so are noticeable on a long hike. But for van, camping or home backup use, with its universal MC4 plug, it is a versatile and reliable panel that recharges Bluetti stations just as well as those of other brands.
Frequently asked questions: Bluetti 200W foldable monocrystalline solar panel
Thanks to its standard MC4 output, it recharges Bluetti stations (AC180, AC200L, Elite 200 V2, EB3A...) but also most solar generators from other brands. Check the input voltage and current your station accepts before connecting.
Its monocrystalline cells reach a conversion efficiency of up to 23.4%, versus 15 to 20% for entry-level panels. For the same surface, it therefore produces more and recharges your battery faster.
It is IP65 certified and covered with a durable ETFE film: it withstands dust and splashes, which makes it suitable for outdoor camping use. Avoid leaving it under prolonged heavy rain or submerged, however.
It weighs about 9 kg and folds into four sections for a briefcase format with a handle. Deployment takes under a minute thanks to its adjustable kickstands that angle it toward the sun.
