We took the Xtorm FS5200 on a week-long business trip, and the format lives up to its promise. At 400g and with a slim body (14.3 x 7.7 x 2.8cm), it slips into a bag pocket without weighing it down, unlike other 20,000mAh units that are noticeably chunkier. The LED display, woken with a press of the button, shows the remaining charge percentage, handy for not running dry. The two 35W USB-C ports charged a smartphone at a good pace (around 50% in half an hour), and being able to plug in three devices at once (2 USB-C, 1 USB-A) saved a lot of queueing in meetings. The GRS recycled plastic makes no compromise on finish, it feels good in the hand and the Dusk White shade looks smart. A couple of gripes: 35W is modest next to rivals offering 65 or even 100W at the same capacity, and the bundled cable is short, more a backup cable than an everyday one. For travel and office use, without expecting to charge a laptop, the FS5200 is a neat, dependable companion.
