Detailed overview: Ugreen 10000mAh MagSafe power bank
The Ugreen Nexode is a 10,000 mAh magnetic power bank, designed above all for the iPhone ecosystem. It attaches to the back of the phone via a MagSafe-compatible ring of magnets, aligns automatically with the charging coil and charges the device wirelessly, without a single cable. A handy way to keep your iPhone powered while you keep using it.
On power, it plays on two fronts. Wirelessly, magnetic charging reaches 7.5W, enough for discreet top-ups through the day. Wired, its USB-C port with Power Delivery (and Quick Charge 3.0) delivers 20W: enough to charge an iPhone 15 Pro to around 60% in 30 minutes, power a second device in parallel, or recharge the battery itself. Its 10,000 mAh (around 37 Wh) give roughly two full charges to an iPhone.
UGREEN's real asset here is the format: barely 19 mm thick for 220 g, with a non-slip silicone surface that grips well in the hand and on the back of the phone. A foldable stand is built in: unfolded, it turns the battery into a kickstand to prop the iPhone in landscape and watch a video while it charges. LED indicators show the remaining level, and a multi-protection system guards against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating.
Under the 100 Wh limit, it is allowed in the aircraft cabin. Compatible with iPhone 12 to 16 (and announced for iPhone 17), as well as Qi and magnetic wireless-charging smartphones, the Ugreen Nexode is aimed at anyone who wants a portable, wireless and genuinely thin backup battery. Note: for faster wireless charging (up to 15W Qi2), UGREEN offers a separate Qi2 version.
Comparison
At around 25 to 40€, the Ugreen Nexode compares with the most sought-after 10,000 mAh MagSafe power banks, through searches such as "MagSafe power bank" or "magnetic power bank iPhone". Here is how it sits against three alternatives: the Anker MagGo 10K, the Belkin BoostCharge Magnetic and the Baseus Magnetic.
| Criterion | Ugreen Nexode | Anker MagGo 10K | Belkin BoostCharge Magnetic | Baseus Magnetic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 10,000 mAh | 10,000 mAh | 10,000 mAh | 10,000 mAh |
| Wireless charging | 7.5W | 7.5 to 15W | 7.5W | 7.5 to 15W |
| Wired charging | USB-C 20W | USB-C 20W | USB-C 20W | USB-C 20W |
| Foldable stand | Yes | Yes | No | Yes |
| Observed price | ≈ 30 € | ≈ 40 € | ≈ 50 € | ≈ 28 € |
In short, the Ugreen Nexode stands out for excellent value: it combines the foldable stand, 20W USB-C and an ultra-thin format for a price below the Anker MagGo and the Belkin. The Anker MagGo refines the finish and sometimes offers Qi2 15W, the Belkin leans on its premium brand but costs more, while the Baseus Magnetic is its most direct rival at a similar price. For a thin, practical and affordable MagSafe battery for everyday use, the Nexode is a very smart choice.

Our tester's review: Guillaume Hoarau
We adopted the Ugreen Nexode as a backup battery for the iPhone, and its appeal is obvious the moment you place it on the back of the phone: the MagSafe magnets align it perfectly and hold it firmly, and you can keep using the iPhone while it charges, with no dangling cable. The format is genuinely thin and light, it disappears into a pocket. The little foldable stand is a nice surprise: you prop the phone in landscape to watch a video while it charges. Over USB-C, the 20W charge the iPhone quickly (or a second device at the same time), and also recharge the battery itself. Two honest caveats: wireless charging tops out at 7.5W on iPhone, fine for topping up but not the fastest (use USB-C if you are in a hurry), and it warms up a little during heavy magnetic charging. There is no screen, just LED level indicators. But at this price, to keep an iPhone topped up wirelessly day to day, the Nexode offers excellent value.
