At just 8.6mm, it nearly disappears once snapped onto the back of an iPhone via the MagSafe magnet, and the Qi2 alignment is effortless. Wireless charging at 15W is noticeably faster than older induction power banks capped at 5 or 7.5W, we get a genuine quarter of battery back in under three quarters of an hour. The USB-C port handles wired duty just as well, up to 20W, handy for recharging the bank itself or topping up another device with a cable. Two honest gripes, common to every MagSafe battery: it gets noticeably warm on wireless charging, and with 5000mAh you're looking at roughly one full iPhone charge, not more. The metal frame gives it a reassuringly solid feel in hand.
