Out of the box, the UltraCharge Pro 25K makes its size known: thicker and heavier than a typical phone power bank, you feel it in the bag. But on the first trip, the point becomes obvious: plug the built-in cable straight into a MacBook Pro without hunting for a USB-C cable at the bottom of the bag, and watch the charge climb almost as fast as with the original wall adapter. During a full day of remote work, we charged the laptop, a phone and a pair of earbuds at once without the output dropping in any noticeable way. The digital display, simple but readable, avoids nasty surprises before a trip. The one real gripe: output drops noticeably once all three ports are used together, which makes sense but is worth knowing if you plan to charge a power hungry laptop while another device is plugged in. For regular use with a laptop on the move, it clearly does the job, as long as you accept the weight.
