Zendure SolarFlow Kit

The Zendure SolarFlow Kit is a plug-in solar and battery system designed specifically for the US market, distinct from the SolarFlow 800 range Zendure sells in Europe. This fiche exists for reference only: the bundle is neither sold nor certified for an installation in the UK.

Rather than a single hub with a built-in battery like the European range, the US kit assembles four separate components: two 410W rigid solar panels, a Hub 2000 solar charge controller with dual MPPT tracking accepting up to 1800W, two AB2000S batteries totalling 3840Wh, and an EZ1-LV microinverter capped at 900W. The Hub 2000 accepts more solar input than the 820W the included panels provide, leaving room to add panels later, a US-market approach.

Up to four AB2000S batteries can be stacked on this system, for a maximum of 7680Wh. A Smart Meter CT, best installed by an electrician, reads household consumption in real time and prevents any backfeed to the grid, a requirement most US utilities enforce.

Zendure states the microinverter is certified to UL1741 for anti-islanding protection, the established US grid-connection standard, but not UL3700, the newer standard written specifically for plug-in solar equipment. The kit does qualify for a 30% US federal tax credit through 2033, a benefit specific to that market with no UK equivalent, since self-consumption taxation follows different rules here.
