Detailed overview: Zendure AB3000X 2880 Wh storage battery
The Zendure AB3000X is a 2880 Wh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) storage module, designed as the capacity extension for the SolarFlow 2400 AC balcony solar system. It is the brick that turns a hybrid inverter into a genuine energy reserve: electricity produced during the day is stored, then released in the evening or at peak hours instead of being fed to the grid for free.
With 2880 Wh per module, the AB3000X targets households that want real autonomy. The system stacks up to six batteries, or 17,280 Wh (17.28 kWh), enough to cover a whole evening, or even a night, on banked solar energy. The 48 V nominal voltage limits conversion losses compared with older low-voltage architectures, and a BMS constantly monitors the temperature, voltage and current of each cell.
Zendure rates the LiFePO4 cells at 6000 cycles, about fifteen years of daily use, a lifespan well above that of conventional lithium batteries. For an install that stays outdoors all year, the module includes self-heating technology that keeps the battery operational down to -20 °C, whereas most batteries refuse to charge below 0 °C.
Rugged (around 26 kg) and built to last, the AB3000X is covered by a 10-year warranty. It connects directly to the SolarFlow 2400 AC hub and is controlled through the Zendure app. One caveat, though: this module is specific to that ecosystem and does not work as a universal battery. For anyone who already owns a SolarFlow 2400 AC, it is the simplest way to increase storage capacity and push self-consumption further.

Comparison
How does the AB3000X compare with other storage modules for balcony solar?

Against the AB2000X, the AB3000X offers higher per-unit capacity (2880 Wh versus 1920 Wh) and a higher expansion ceiling, at the cost of a heavier module. Like the Anker rival, it relies on long-life LiFePO4 cells and cold-weather resistance, within the specific SolarFlow 2400 AC system.

Our tester's review: Julien De Jurquet
The AB3000X is the storage brick that makes the SolarFlow 2400 AC truly worthwhile: with 2880 Wh in a single module, you already cover a good part of an evening without drawing from the grid. What we like is the stacking logic: you start with one battery, then add more over time, up to six, with nothing to reconfigure. The LiFePO4 cells rated for 6000 cycles inspire confidence over the long run, and the internal heating, which keeps the battery active down to -20 °C, is a real plus for a year-round outdoor install. The build is hefty and reassuring, but that is also the trade-off: at over 26 kg, the module is not made to be moved often, so plan its permanent spot from the start. Another point to keep in mind: the AB3000X is designed for the SolarFlow 2400 AC ecosystem and is not a universal block. But within that setup, it is an efficient, durable extension, covered by a 10-year warranty, for anyone who really wants to maximise self-consumption.
Frequently asked questions: Zendure AB3000X 2880 Wh storage battery
No. The AB3000X is a storage module built for Zendure's SolarFlow 2400 AC system: it connects to the hub that manages charging, discharging and feed-in. It is not a universal battery you can plug into any inverter.
Up to 17.28 kWh by stacking six AB3000X modules of 2880 Wh each. You can start with a single battery and grow the system over time, to suit your needs and budget.
The LiFePO4 cells are rated for 6000 cycles, about fifteen years of daily use. Zendure covers the module with a 10-year warranty.
Yes. The AB3000X includes internal heating that keeps the battery operational down to -20 °C, whereas many batteries stop charging below 0 °C. It is therefore suitable for a year-round outdoor installation.
