Detailed overview: Eco-Worthy EnergyTrek 12V 314Ah LiFePO4 4019Wh

The Eco-Worthy EnergyTrek 314Ah is a 12.8V LiFePO4 lithium battery built to replace lead-acid in a solar or off-grid setup: motorhome, converted van, boat or home storage. With 314Ah and 4019Wh of usable energy, it provides a comfortable reserve to run a fridge, lighting, a water pump and onboard electronics for several days.

Its 200A BMS protects against overcharging, deep discharge, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating, with charging automatically cut below -7 °C and discharge below -20 °C to protect the cells in cold weather. The fireproof casing adds an extra layer of safety in the event of an internal fault, a real plus for onboard use. An LED indicator shows charge status at a glance, backed up by a Bluetooth app (claimed range up to 25 metres) that lets you track voltage, current and capacity in real time from a smartphone.

This battery stands out for its expandability: up to 4 units can be linked in series and parallel (4P2S or 2P4S configuration) to build a system reaching 32.15 kWh, at 25.6V or 51.2V depending on the wiring chosen. That makes it easy to grow a solar setup over time without starting from scratch.

At 27.4 kg for dimensions of 414 x 215 x 260 mm, it stays manageable for such a high capacity, well under the weight of an equivalent lead-acid battery. Its M8 screw terminals make it easy to wire into an existing setup.

Built for solar energy storage, motorhomes, boats or home backup, the Eco-Worthy EnergyTrek 314Ah suits anyone after a large, expandable energy reserve at a noticeably more accessible price than premium brands in the sector.

Comparison

In the roughly 300Ah bracket of lithium batteries, the Eco-Worthy EnergyTrek 314Ah regularly comes up in searches like "EnergyTrek vs LiTime" or "EnergyTrek vs Renogy". Here's how it compares with three alternatives in its category: the LiTime 12V 300Ah, one of the most compared brands in this segment; the Renogy Core Mini 300Ah, more compact and lighter; and the Fogstar Drift 300Ah, a premium reference in the UK.

In short, the Eco-Worthy EnergyTrek 314Ah stands out for its slightly higher capacity at comparable energy, and for clearly documented expandability up to 32.15 kWh, a real asset for a setup meant to grow. The LiTime 300Ah stays very close on features with a similar warranty, the Renogy Core Mini is more compact but with a shorter warranty, and the Fogstar Drift 300Ah goes for the premium end at a noticeably higher price. For large, expandable capacity at a contained price, the EnergyTrek 314Ah stands out as a sensible choice.

Fitted to replace a bank of lead-acid batteries in a converted van, this EnergyTrek 314Ah clearly changes the game for range: you actually use nearly all of the claimed 4019Wh, without the partial-discharge caution lead-acid demanded. The LED indicator is handy for a quick check without pulling out your phone, and the Bluetooth app rounds things out nicely for finer monitoring, though its range stays limited to a few metres in real use. The fireproof casing is reassuring for extended use on board. At 27.4 kg it stays manageable for two people despite the capacity, well below the 80kg-plus of an equivalent lead-acid bank. The one real downside: like any LiFePO4 without self-heating, charging should be avoided in very cold weather, worth planning around for winter use. For the price, it's hard to find this much capacity that's this easily expandable elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions: Eco-Worthy EnergyTrek 12V 314Ah LiFePO4 4019Wh

Yes, up to 4 units can be connected in series and parallel (4P2S or 2P4S configuration) to reach 32.15 kWh at 25.6V or 51.2V, ideal for growing a solar setup over time.

A dedicated LiFePO4 charger set to an absorption voltage of about 14.6V. The discharge cut-off voltage is set to 10V by the built-in BMS, which also protects against overcharging and short circuits.

Its casing is claimed fireproof and its 200A BMS includes protection against overcharging, deep discharge, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating, a standard safety level for a modern LiFePO4 battery of this size.

The BMS automatically cuts charging below -7 °C and discharge below -20 °C to protect the cells. It's best to charge in a temperate space during winter, unless opting for a self-heating version if available.
