We unboxed the A80P wondering whether a solar kit could really go up without a tradesperson, and the answer is yes: fix the two flexible panels to a rail or lay them down, wire the microinverter with the MC4 connectors, plug it in, and the Bluetti app shows output within minutes. The flexible panels bend just enough to follow a curved balcony rail, a real plus over a rigid panel. The A80P gets noticeably warm at midday but stays within spec thanks to its cooling fins. The honest downside: without a battery, any surplus not used on the spot goes back to the grid unrewarded, so it pays to have a steady daytime baseline load. The price feels high once you notice the two panels alone cost almost as much bought separately from Bluetti.
