Victron states 0.01 A resolution and 0.4% accuracy on current, 0.01 V and 0.3% on voltage, 0.1% on state of charge and 0.1 Ah on measured capacity. The shunt handles up to 500 A continuous, and the unit accepts a configurable battery capacity up to 9999 Ah, enough for a van or a substantial house bank alike. Native Bluetooth and programmable alarms, cloud access as an extra
Bluetooth is built in natively, with no extra dongle: the free VictronConnect app gives access to historical graphs, alarm thresholds and full configuration. A bistable 60 V/1 A programmable relay can shut down a non-essential load or start a generator, with both an audible and a visual alarm directly on the unit. For remote tracking through the VRM portal, beyond Bluetooth range, a separate GX device is still needed, not included with the monitor.
Wide compatibility, but terminals that require preparation

The shunt terminals take M10 lugs, to be sourced separately depending on cable gauge used. The display housing is rated IP55, so not intended for outdoor or very humid mounting.

The programmable relay and its dual audible and visual alarm provide a genuine active safety function: shutting down a load or starting a generator before a battery is damaged by excessive discharge. The power cable includes a 1 A fuse. Victron warrants the unit for 5 years, noticeably longer than the category average.
