Detailed overview: Ugreen 20000 mAh 130W power bank with display
The Ugreen Nexode 20000 130W is a 20,000 mAh (72 Wh) power bank built to run a laptop, a smartphone and their accessories from a single casing. Its column format (131 x 54 x 50.8 mm, 476 g) suits a bag better than a pocket, but the whole front face is given over to a colour TFT display.
On power, the first USB-C port delivers up to 100W over Power Delivery 3.0, enough to charge a MacBook Pro, a Windows ultrabook or a handheld console at a good pace (Ugreen quotes 43% in 30 minutes on a 16-inch MacBook Pro). The second USB-C port gives 30W and the USB-A port 22.5W. The advertised 130W comes from using two ports together, 100W and 30W: when all three are in use, the first keeps its 100W and the other two share 15W.
The display is the real distinguishing feature. It shows charge level, voltage, current and power for each port, with a live curve, so you can see at a glance whether the laptop is really getting its full power. A long press switches on a low-current mode, handy for earbuds and smartwatches.
According to the manufacturer, the reserve is good for about 4 charges of an iPhone 15, 3 of a Galaxy S24 Ultra, 2 of an 11-inch iPad Pro and 1.3 of a 13-inch MacBook Air. At 72 Wh it stays under the 100 Wh limit and is allowed in the aircraft cabin. To recharge it, USB-C port 1 accepts up to 65W: with a 65W charger, which is not supplied, a full recharge takes about 2 hours. A USB-C cable is included in the box.
Ugreen uses automotive-grade 21700 lithium-ion cells, rated for 1,000 cycles with more than 80% of capacity retained, plus 13 layers of protection and ThermalGuard temperature monitoring. Worth knowing before you buy: no wireless charging, no built-in cable and no torch, and at 5 cm thick it is less discreet than a flat power bank. Ugreen also sells a 130W variant with a built-in USB-C cable under a different product code: this page covers the model with conventional ports and a TFT display.

Comparison
Between £43 and £139, the Ugreen Nexode 20000 130W competes with 20,000 to 24,000 mAh power banks able to charge a laptop, targeted by searches such as "130W power bank" or "laptop power bank 20000 mAh". Here is how it sits against three references from our catalogue: the Ugreen Nexode 100W, the Ugreen Nexode 20000 145W and the Anker 737 Power Bank.
| Criterion | Ugreen Nexode 20000 130W | Ugreen Nexode 100W | Ugreen Nexode 20000 145W | Anker 737 Power Bank |

| Observed price | ≈ £50 | ≈ £43 | ≈ £60 | ≈ £139 |
In short, the Nexode 20000 130W combines 130W in total, a colour TFT display that details every port and a weight of 476 g, 154 g less than the Anker 737. The Nexode 100W costs a little less and weighs 420 g, but lacks the extra power and the detailed display. The Nexode 20000 145W has a built-in USB-C cable and recharges in 90 minutes: the most practical choice for anyone who always forgets a cable. The Anker 737 offers the biggest reserve and a one-hour recharge at 140W, at the cost of 630 g. For anyone who wants to monitor charging live without going over 500 g, this Nexode 20000 130W is the best compromise.

Our tester's review: Guillaume Hoarau
The first thing you do with this Ugreen is look at the display. Instead of four percentage lights, it shows voltage, current and power for each port, so you can see straight away whether the MacBook is getting its 100W or whether the phone plugged in next to it is taking some. On a desk or in a bag it charges laptop, phone and earbuds without fuss, and the USB-C cable in the box means you never set off without one. The low-current mode, switched on with a long press, also helps for watches and earbuds. Three honest reservations. The 130W is only reached with two ports (100W + 30W): when all three are busy, the two secondary ports share 15W. Recharging tops out at 65W, so about 2 hours. And at 5 cm thick it is a bag power bank, not a pocket one. For nomadic desk work, the display makes all the difference.
Frequently asked questions: Ugreen 20000 mAh 130W power bank with display
Yes, through its first USB-C port, which delivers up to 100W over Power Delivery 3.0. Ugreen quotes 43% on a 16-inch MacBook Pro in 30 minutes. A laptop that demands more power will charge more slowly.
Yes, but only with two ports: 100W on the first USB-C and 30W on the second. When all three ports are in use, the first keeps 100W and the other two share 15W. The 130W is therefore a ceiling.
About 2 hours with a 65W charger, the maximum input of USB-C port 1. The charger is not supplied, and with a 20W phone charger you should allow several hours.
Yes. At 72 Wh it stays under the 100 Wh limit set by most airlines, so no special approval is needed. Like any power bank it travels in hand luggage, never in the hold.
Yes, Ugreen also sells a 20,000 mAh 130W variant with a built-in USB-C cable, under reference 55365. This page covers the model with reference 35524, with conventional ports, a TFT display and a USB-C cable included.
