The DeWalt XR 18V 5Ah battery (reference DCB184) is the genuine Li-Ion battery of DeWalt's XR 18V cordless platform. In the North American market, this same platform is sold under the 20V MAX name and the battery then carries the reference DCB205: it is the same voltage and the same technology, only the marketing name changes (18V nominal in Europe, 20V max no-load in the US).
