We swapped our drawer charger for the Xtorm 35W GaN2 Ultra, and the size still catches us off guard: barely bigger than a stock iPhone charger, it disappears in the palm of your hand. On the USB-C port, a recent phone picks up a good half of its battery in about thirty minutes, plenty for a coffee break. The USB-A port is handy for a second device, earbuds or an older phone, without juggling two chargers. The white shell is understated and blends into any desk, and it stays reasonably cool even after fully charging a tablet. Two small gripes: with the USB-C port pushed to full Power Delivery, you cannot use the second port at full power at the same time, annoying if you are travelling with limited hotel sockets; and the plug is fixed (EU only), with no interchangeable head. Still, for everyday use at home or in the office, this little GaN2 Ultra charger does exactly what is asked of it, with a genuine sustainability effort (85% recycled plastic) that we appreciate.
