The Anker Nano 45W with smart display is a new Anker charger line, separate from the Nano 3 30W already in our selection. Same ultra-compact format and the same GaN technology, but with one major addition: a small display that turns a plain wall charger into a genuine charging companion.
The moment a recent iPhone (15 and later) or a compatible iPad is plugged in, the display automatically recognises the device, showing its name and battery percentage as it charges. With other USB-C devices, it shows the power delivered live, the temperature and the active charging mode. A tap rotates the display so it can be read from any plug orientation.
On power, its 45W is enough to quickly charge an iPhone, an iPad or earbuds, and to top up a MacBook Air on the go. Anker highlights a three-stage charge: a fast ramp to 45W from 0 to 20%, a plateau around 30W from 20 to 80%, then a very gentle finish to 100%, to limit heat at the end of the cycle. Care Mode, switched on from the display, goes further by reducing charging temperature even more to protect the battery over time.
The body stays tiny despite the display: about 40 x 35.5 x 34 mm for 90g, with 180° foldable prongs that let it lie flat in a bag or pouch. A genuine advantage over the Nano 3 30W, which has neither a display nor this 45W of power.

On the desk for a few weeks now, this little Nano 45W stands out mainly for its display: the moment you plug in an iPhone, it shows the recognised model and its charge percentage, genuinely useful for checking progress at a glance without picking up the phone. The 45W output charges an iPhone at full speed and comfortably tops up a MacBook Air on the go. Care Mode, which slows charging near the end of the cycle to protect the battery, is clearly visible on screen through a change in the animation's pace. The 180° foldable prongs are handy for crowded wall sockets. The one downside: no cable is included, so you need your own, and the display, while readable, stays small next to the one on its big sibling, the Prime 160W. For a pocket charger that does more than a plain anonymous brick, this Nano 45W more than delivers.
