Detailed overview: Ugreen 30W 3-port LED car charger
The Ugreen 30W car charger turns the cigarette lighter socket into a genuine multi-device charging station. Unlike basic single-port adapters, it packs three simultaneous outputs: two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, to power a phone, a tablet and a GPS unit at the same time on the road.
Each USB-C port delivers up to 30W over Power Delivery 3.0/2.0 and Quick Charge 3.0/2.0 when used alone, while the USB-A port reaches 22.5W (SCP, FCP, AFC). The 30W total output is shared across the ports in use, so several devices can charge quickly without the speed collapsing. Thanks to PPS, an iPhone 15 Pro Max goes from 0 to 55% battery in just 30 minutes on the USB-C1 port, for instance.
Its standout feature, setting it apart from most cigarette lighter chargers on the market, is the blue LED ring around the three ports. It instantly shows where each socket is, so you can plug in without fumbling, a real comfort at night or in a dark cabin, without ever dazzling the driver.
The compact aluminium body (25 x 53 mm) houses multiple protections: against overcurrent, short circuits, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheating and overpower, for worry-free daily use. It is compatible with most recent smartphones and tablets (iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel, iPad), as well as smartwatches, earbuds, handheld consoles or dashcams through the USB-A port.
Sold without a cable, this Ugreen 30W charger suits anyone who wants to equip their car with a fast, compact charging solution that is easy to spot, able to top up three people on board at once.

Comparison
At around £9 to £17, the Ugreen 30W car charger goes up against several highly searched USB-C cigarette lighter chargers in the same power bracket, including searches like "Ugreen 30W vs INIU" or "Ugreen 30W vs Anker". Here is how it compares with three popular alternatives: the INIU USB-C Car Charger, the Anker USB-C Car Charger 30W and the Baseus Square Car Charger 30W.

In short, the Ugreen 30W car charger is the only one in this line-up to offer three usable ports at once and an LED ring for finding the sockets in the dark, two genuinely useful everyday advantages. The INIU is unbeatable on price, the Anker enjoys an excellent reputation for reliability, and the Baseus Square stands out for its compact shape, but none of the three match the three-port versatility or the visual cue of the Ugreen. For anyone who wants to top up several devices at once without ever hunting for the right port in the dark, the Ugreen 30W remains the most practical choice.

Our tester's review: Christophe Delpuech
On a family road trip, having three ports available at once turned out to be genuinely useful: the driver's phone on one USB-C, the kids' tablet on the second USB-C, and the passenger's GPS on the USB-A, with no fighting over a single socket. The blue LED ring around the ports is more useful than it sounds: at night, you find the right port on the first try, no fumbling in the dark or turning on the interior light. Charging is properly fast on the USB-C ports, our iPhone regained more than half its battery in half an hour on the road. The body stays compact and unobtrusive in the socket. One small gripe: no cable is included, so you need to already own one, and the USB-A port tops out at 22.5W, a bit tight for larger devices. For a versatile backup charger at this price, with a genuinely useful LED touch, it is a real success.
