Detailed overview: INIU 90W dual USB-C car charger

The INIU 90W car charger banks on a rare combination: two independent 45W USB-C ports, an extra USB-A port, and an LED display that shows your vehicle's battery voltage in real time. It turns the 12V socket into a genuine fast-charging station, while keeping an eye on your battery's health.

Each USB-C port delivers up to 45W over Power Delivery and Quick Charge 3.0, for a combined 90W when both are used together. In practice, that means charging two recent smartphones at full speed at the same time, without either one throttling the other, an iPhone 17 Pro and a Galaxy S25 Ultra going from empty to over 78 percent charge in half an hour according to INIU. The third port, USB-A, powers an extra device (earbuds, an older phone), for three devices charged at once without stacking adapters. One thing worth knowing: on a standard 12V setup (most cars), each USB-C port really caps out around 36W, with the full 45W per port only reached on the 24V systems found in trucks and vans.

The discreet LED display is the charger's other signature feature: it constantly shows the vehicle's battery voltage, a useful way to spot a tired battery before it fails, especially in winter. The build is remarkably compact, 3.5 x 2.3 x 6cm for just 26g, with a UL94 V-0 fire-retardant shell and 6-layer protection against surges, overcurrent and overheating. Compatible with 12V to 24V sockets, it works equally well in a car, a van or a truck.

Sold without a cable (only a user manual is included in the box), it needs a Power Delivery-compatible USB-C cable to unlock the full 45W. Simple, discreet and well finished, this INIU 90W charger suits anyone who wants to charge several devices at once on the road while keeping tabs on their battery's health.

Comparison

How does the INIU 90W car charger compare with other cigarette lighter chargers on the market, notably for searches like "INIU 90W vs Ugreen" or "INIU 90W vs Baseus"? A comparison against three references in the same category: the Anker 30W, the most compact of the three but also the least powerful; the Ugreen 63W, a solid power-to-price compromise; and the Baseus 65W, its most direct rival with its own voltage display.

In short, the INIU 90W is the only one of the four to combine two independent 45W USB-C ports, a third USB-A port and a voltage display, at a price lower than both the Ugreen 63W and the Baseus 65W. The Anker 30W remains the most compact for basic use, but trails well behind on power and features. For anyone wanting to charge several devices at full speed while keeping an eye on their battery, the INIU 90W offers the best features-to-price ratio in this comparison.

The INIU 90W car charger is genuinely surprising out of the box: it is hard to believe such a tiny housing fits two 45W USB-C ports plus a USB-A port. In use, both USB-C ports charge a phone and a tablet at once without any noticeable slowdown, and the voltage display turned out more useful than expected, especially for spotting a tired battery before a trip. The body stays barely warm even under full load, and it hardly sticks out of the 12V socket. Two honest gripes: on a standard 12V car, each USB-C port really caps out around 36W rather than 45W (you need a 24V system, like a van or truck, to hit the full rated power), and the display is a touch dim in bright sunlight. No cable is included either. Even so, for such a modest price, this charger remains one of the most complete and best-finished on the market.

Frequently asked questions: INIU 90W dual USB-C car charger

Yes. Its two independent USB-C ports each deliver up to 45W (Power Delivery, Quick Charge 3.0), charging two smartphones at full speed at the same time, plus a third device on the USB-A port.

Not always. On a standard 12V system, each USB-C port caps out around 36W. The full 45W per port is only reached on a 24V system, such as a truck or van.

It shows the vehicle's battery voltage in real time, which helps spot a tired battery before it fails, especially in winter or after the car has been sitting unused for a while.

No, only a user manual is included in the box, no charging cable. A Power Delivery-compatible USB-C cable is required to enjoy the full 45W fast charging on either port.

Yes, it accepts a wide input range from 12V to 24V, so it works in a car or motorbike just as well as in a truck, delivery van or camper conversion.
