The Gooloo GT3000 is the kind of accessory you stash in the boot hoping never to use, but which proves a real lifesaver the day your battery dies. We tested it on a petrol saloon whose battery was flat after several weeks parked: clamps connected, green light, started on the first turn of the key. Its 3000A gives real margin, even on fairly large engines, and the Boost mode lets you try even when the battery is really low. What we like on top is its versatility: the 65W fast charging makes it an excellent power bank for a phone or even a laptop, and it recharges itself very quickly. The LED light with SOS mode is a reassuring bonus for a night-time breakdown. The smart clamps protect well against connection mistakes. Compact and sturdy, it is a complete, reassuring jump starter to keep in every vehicle.
