Suaoki ICS4 Charger

For once, it wasn't one of our testers who got to try this item, but his wife. Dealing with a battery that kept draining for no reason, she chose this small charger from Suaoki in its 4.0-amp version. Her feedback is excellent, and she especially appreciated its compactness (it can stay in the car without taking up too much room), its simplicity (you just plug it in and choose the mode — which stays in memory even after being unplugged), and its efficiency (you plug it in, come back several minutes or hours later, and the battery is fully charged).

Its LED screen is handy for seeing the charge level and the selected battery type. Its smart circuit allows for a pre-programmed 8-stage charge, and the ICS4 charger can thus also serve as a charge maintainer (by leaving it connected to your battery, it will ensure it stays optimally charged at all times).

Special mention for its alligator clips, particularly well designed compared to those of some competing products, as they are slim with a very wide opening, making them easy to clip onto any car or motorcycle battery.

A small tip for those without access to a power outlet, but who still want to fully charge their car battery: this device can be powered by a low-power power station, such as the S270 charger from the same brand, or any other hundred-watt-class power station.

An excellent little device, then, which we highly recommend for anyone wanting to charge or maintain their car or motorcycle battery regularly and efficiently, on a very affordable budget.
